@Devs

I noticed that the couse of the sleep of death, maybe when it's goes to sleep automatically.

I didn't noticed the problem if I put it manually into sleep mode (so far).

I've got a problem, i used to install Android on my memory card, and i can access both My Storage and the memory card in Android. But after i change to install Android in My Storage, i can only access the memory card and the partition which Android locate, but can't access the remaining about 6GB in My Storage. Is there anyway to solve this problem?

Thx.

It could be but I doubt it. I refer to my post #366 (see also #368) in the B7610 topic.

My omnia2droid is stable now for 2 days in a row without reboot. After a good night of rest it woke up easily this morning.

Just left it alone for 2,5 hours. Woke up easily.

(Beta2 on B7610, with taskkiller and CPUboost from Market, see mentioned post)

I installed it on My storage.

Not strange. It happens when You boot android with overclock processor in WM

Strange, I didn't do any over clocking in WM and it still happened.

So I have had beta 2 running for 2 full days without a single freeze once I used setcpu with the lowest speed of 133MHz. So I thought woohoo finally a stable install even though the battery drain is a bit much.

I now get an error message saying "acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and the only option is to push force close. Android keeps running but some programs close soon after opening them like the contacts page. I have tried stopping services in Android but this doesn't appear to locate the problem.

Now I remember somewhere on this forum someone mentioning it before but as you can't search just this forum and find only the posts that have acore in it is a little difficult. If I search acore it just gives this forum in general.

I'm so hoping this doesn't mean another install again as I had corruption with my storage card installs MANY times but now I'm running my storage install it hasn't been corrupted yet.

What fdisk command in Ubuntu should I use if that may help?

I had that same problem today

Running stable from My Storage, but sometimes that message pops up

Although I haven't noticed any app malfunction after that like u have

I'm also using setcpu and the 2g only network option and so far it's been smooth sailing for me and my droid

Devs, u guys rock \,,/

Just finished a day of testing in 2G only mode...

I barely used the phone (screen off most of the time but I was checking the battery life every hour or so) and I have 20% of battery life left after the phone has been unplugged for 7h and 25 minutes. Cell Standby took up 42% of the battery life and phone idle took up 40% of the battery life. Time without a signal is 0%.

So, basically we can get 7 hours use of the phone...which is less than ideal, but still great for a Beta release...

Maybe not the best way to start your first post on this forum. This has been posted SO MANY times its hard to miss if you actually READ the forum. Look on this page about for a solution http://www.modaco.com/content-page/322429/...0/#entry1602708 that worked for me.

thanks for your replay!Actually I didn't read the forum completely.(It had so many pages! :D )

i made a fresh instalation of beta2, and everything seems to be fine,

but SetCPU says that can't get root access, do you know why?

the beta2 is supposed to be rooted

thanks!

Again for all the people suffering from Sleep of Death:

Install SetCPU, configure it to not go lower than 133 MHz and put it in conservative mode.

Since I've done this, I haven't even single Sleep of death, neither freeze or spontaneous reboot.

16h since unplugged and I'm on 23%. Used to wake me up today morning and for some music and try of the GPS. Still the most consumption comes from Cell standby.
