Seems like phj is tuning the battery measurement to reflect the actual charge level and not the imaginary WinMo one.

It will not be synchronized with WinMo but at least will show us the reality

thnals alexovy for your advice, i made what you said,

the "time without signal" went to 0 now, but i stil have the battery drain problem

i lost 50% in 3 hours, without using the phone a lot...

Try also to go to network settings and select the network manually. Don't leave it on auto.

Tell me if that helped.

Is anybody with android on ext4 having freezing problems and sleep of death?

I did't have any problems in the beginning, but now, whenever I unplug the phone from laptop, I get sleep of death and every time I install anything, it freezes after install.

Making good progress by the sound of it

But err, our Omnia 2's have a temperature sensor? :P :D

Yes it does! It's built into the Compass Chip used in the i8000 and B7610.

I'm not sure if this is a separate function or just used to maintain the stability of the compass.

Might be useful for measuring how hot out devices get inside when they are draining all the battery on 3G :)

Could someone please post the correct SVN address aswell as some more info on the dev env necessary for compiling this particular Android Kernel?

SVN address is ok(svn://o2droid.phj.hu/droid). To compile You have to set variables:

- for kernel: CCOMPILER=/path/to/eabi/bin/arm-none-eabi-

- for modules: KDIR=/path/to/kernel/source

One question, I don't know if it's offtopic but... Where is Rapid81? Where are his language-packs? He doesn't post in a lot of time...

Regards.

I'm trying to compile a new zImage based on the new changes that the devs are making over at trac, any idea where I can get the: arm-2009q3.tar.gz

required in kgp's post?
