Guest surenz Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) New changeset in the project page: 14:37 Changeset [93] by phj max_soc handling to know the exact power% - kernel part… What it means? Can anyone explain it? Thanks! Seems like phj is tuning the battery measurement to reflect the actual charge level and not the imaginary WinMo one. It will not be synchronized with WinMo but at least will show us the reality  Edited March 2, 2011 by surenz

Guest Vic20 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Making good progress by the sound of it  But err, our Omnia 2's have a temperature sensor? :P :D Yes it does! It's built into the Compass Chip used in the i8000 and B7610. I'm not sure if this is a separate function or just used to maintain the stability of the compass. Might be useful for measuring how hot out devices get inside when they are draining all the battery on 3G :) Vic
Guest cicciosprint Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Could someone please post the correct SVN address aswell as some more info on the dev env necessary for compiling this particular Android Kernel?
Guest voyteckst Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Could someone please post the correct SVN address aswell as some more info on the dev env necessary for compiling this particular Android Kernel? SVN address is ok(svn://o2droid.phj.hu/droid). To compile You have to set variables: - for kernel: CCOMPILER=/path/to/eabi/bin/arm-none-eabi- - for modules: KDIR=/path/to/kernel/source Edited March 2, 2011 by voyteckst
