Guest vidavi Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) is there any final solution for the sleep of death (SOD) ? Did fresh install, keymapping changed, boot time seems faster, overall smoother android. SOD occured as long as i unplugged from charger. Time bug when change from winmo to android still exists. Dont know how to test sensors without apps installed. Edited March 3, 2011 by vidavi
Guest xibianliang Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 The update is working, at least for me. actually i couldn't boot up android this afternoon, but after applying the update, i went straight into Android from WM. there's a noticeable improvement in speed and everything run more smoothly. The problem is the key layout has changed and i can not figure out how to bring up the menu option in some apps. does anyone know why?
Guest cicciosprint Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 One question, are the changes detailed in the wiki necessary for those of us compiling from the SVN rather than using the updates, or the init.rc file has already been amended?

Guest Shadowlord666 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 OK, I've tried a few apps which use the sensors, but none of them is working. Also, I can confirm that key layout has changed. I can't find a menu botton anymore (cube button). I *guess* (hope) there will be a new update soon...

Guest Shadowlord666 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 I've applied the new update. Button mapping seems to be fine now, but sensors are still not working.
Guest voyteckst Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) 2487 kb before now 2490 kb.. seems updated! There is changelog in zip file. People who downloaded this update before 17.24, please re-download. One more time: for now I'd rather be careful with ext4. Stick rather with ext3 if You have problems.
