Guest Sinistersky Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) ext4 works with latest rev update...you don-t need to add anything... EDIT: i have a question...umm...it happened before ( everytime i installed on my storage) ... the o2b2update.tar.gz won't install at all..I have to install manually everytime... Why? Same goes for o2b2update.sh files.... they just won't install... Yea..I'm guessing the o2b2update.sh is making my android not work..i get " Warning: init couldn't be something.... idk... How can i install a .sh through ubuntu? Edited March 3, 2011 by Sinistersky
Guest voyteckst Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Please let me know about compass if it's working for You fine.
Guest Sinistersky Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Please let me know about compass if it's working for You fine. I would gladly if I could run android properly after the new update...The last update was fine..now with this .sh file it won't boot at all...stops at Android screen...
Guest victorlok Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) There is changelog in zip file. People who downloaded this update before 17.24, please re-download. One more time: for now I'd rather be careful with ext4. Stick rather with ext3 if You have problems. here is the update after installed your correction.(ext3 on my storage) 1. magnetic and orientation sensor (compass)work; 2. light sensor seems don't work; 3. system does not rotate, so.... Guest Shadowlord666 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Now I've extracted all files from the newest update manually, but sensors are still not working. The app "Elixir" tells me that there's not a single sensor available. :(
Guest wielki ptak Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Rotation seems to work...really nice. Please tell me how you get it work? What did you install? I have "Files: beta1024.zip ........ 1G partition image ( new version : 2011-01-18 12:35 CET )" from http://o2droid.phj.hu/index_en.php, and accelerometer dont work.
Guest xson Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 All the new added sensor work perfectly. However, the light sensor and auto backlight transform is not smooth...but it is ok Please re-download the update if yours don't work
Guest jimmad Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 unable to open initial console i cant understand it

Boy(or Girl) You need to download http://87.229.73.80/beta2_1024.zip first then you need to download the update file which contain the zImage o2b2update.tar.gz and o2b2update.sh Moreover, u need a 2D/3D lib file
Guest TIEfighter Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 i think we could sort out most of these issues with a new beta package :(
