I use latest beta2+all patches (incl. 0319)

Let me share with you my experience regarding the black screen during unlock attempts.

1. Deleting the file "libGLES_android...so" had no effect

2. myLockGuard - much better. Besides it increases the chance that you will unlock the phone. But it still can take about 1 minute of trying ))

3. I noticed that you can hear camera autofocus sound a few moments before the phone will become unlocked after the deep sleep

Hi

to me the unlock is almost immediate after install of myLockGuard, maybe you can try to set unlock pattern under the "location & security" setting so the phone will prompt you to enter a pattern to unlock, maybe this will wake up the phone faster..

BTW, to get to the unlock screen quickly after myLockGuard screen appear, use the camera key to end the program and the unlock screen will appear.

By avoid to deep sleep MyLockGuard dont would draining more charge that normal?

I've not test it intensively, to me its quite OK, my phone drain 10% per hour under normal use, so about 10hrs for 100% if going by this rate, so quite OK. BTW I've not use the latest kernel yet, so anyone use the latest kernel should be better, please share your finding... thanks.

I encounter this DISK0_ with a " _ " behind and realised that when I didn't unmount the USB before I plug out the phone in Ubantu, the Ubantu will generate a "_" behind the volume name and when I plug the phone back, it can't access the USB as it's confused between "disk" and "disk_". when I power down and power up Ubantu, the "disk_" is gone and everything back to normal. I hope this will help.

Rather not so good. With normal use I've got 47% left after 24 hours.

Please tell me which updates are installed and how!

Yesturday I installed all updates, including the 0319.

Everything was ok, but the battery goes down to zero in about 2 hours. (using wifi, no sim card) and the back of the phone was really hot!

I had no time to connect to the charger, battery goes down to zero and doird turned off.

I left on the charger for the night.

This morning android booted up normally, but wifi doesn't work. I can not turn it on. I inserted my sim card, phone is ok.

I have some process not responding (force close, or wait) error messages.

The system is much slower than yesturday.

Do i have to install it again?

So, i have to start it from the beginning?

Do I have to delete some files from MyStorage? Or just begin installation again?

Thank's for helping me!

i don't have SD card, how can i install android without using SD ?

sorry im new , I just came across this miracle and wanna check out !

yes you can, but advised for experts only. You can find several guides how to do it.

But better buy a SD card (2G or up), they are a cheap, less risky in use and SD card setup is supported.

I think this new kernel requires a fresh install. I had troubles when just change zImage without reinstall everything from scratch.

For me, I don't mind trade off battery with ease of use, before I discovered MyLockGuard, I didn't even want to use Beta 2 but just remain as Beta 1 cos Beta 2 need to use "end call/hang up" button to wake up the phone and it took million years to wake up the phone and sometime didn't even wake up and also need to install "call light", I gave up using it. But after I install MyLockGuard, my phone wake up instantly by a click and I can even bypass the lock screen and go straight to the screen and no call mute and SOD, soooo good, I'm now love using Beta 2.

I don't mind only have 10 hrs of battery time, anyway, its enough to last me for one whole day and charge at home end of the day. Just give and take lo.. cheers...

BTW, I heard that some smart phone, Andriod phone or even iphone battery don't last long and need extra power pack to last for a day, so our O2 is consider quite good already...

Ok, I understood your point of view, moreover I got a trouble in my phone from last night and Im going to reinstall over again now, that maybe it caused some interference with my test. So thanks by tips, I will try it again.

Edit: My Storage was in ext2, I dont know how, but it probably did some corruption data, since I always install in ext4. Disconsider all my analisys. I will test again.

Well, today i tested stand by for a whole day... 24 hours time period...and battery is now on 68% with 2g on

Also, tested yesterday with usage ( intense usage, 3g, music playing for 8 hours, gaming for 1 hour ) and the battery lasted 16 hours with no problems...had 15% after 18 hours...wich is awesome
