I have a problem with my sd card being mounted in Android. I'm running Android on my storage.

In the original betas it worked 100%. Then after beta 2 I used to have to remove the sd card and put it back in for Android to detect it. And this worked everytime. But since the new update I still get the message of sd card removed.

It works in WM, it works as an external drive.... The card is brand new and does not have any problems with it.

The card is a patriot 16GB Class 10 card.

I have tried formatting in win mo. I have tried removing the partition and then reformatting again. I have tried formatting in windows.... I'm starting to think that maybe its the partition mapping is not right.

I should note that on the boot screen the card is recognised as a 16GB card (reported as ~15GB).

Could it have something to do with the init.rc file and the partition mounting? I had to change the /storage line to kop1 so o2b2updates would install.

using the update from slmz stopped my radio functionality again.

@slmz: is your radio running when the screen is going to sleep?

Hey guys, i have install beta2 with new kernel on my storage with ubuntu, everything went great but when i start haret , android don't work.

What text do i have do change in default, i already did it like i read on this forum; mmcblk0p2 and i tried some others combination.

I make the partition like disk0 and disk , one fat and the other ext2. I did extract it perfectly with ubuntu.

Thanks and regards

[/quote.

if you suspect your sd card's partitions don't match the init.rc ,you can try to thwart the startup process by putting a edited default.txt with incorrect values and the error message will then show you what available partitions you have on sdcard and internal storage.hope it can somehow help you

4. Android should be running fine.

well, I did this but it says in the kernel I get from the 02beta map: kernel panic: not syncing init, so do I have to paste this zimage file in my sd card?

9/3/2011

There was a rare condition when the SD card appeared sooner than the internal flash at boot - resulting the "No init found" error in kernel. The reason that the sdhci interfaces was not stricly assigned to an mmc device - the first sdhci was the mmc0. This is corrected now, so the s3c-sdhci.1 is the mmc0, .2 is the mmc1 and so on. The corresponding kernel ( svn version 100): zImage

I'm sure I've already read this somewhere before, but does anyone else find that the battery profile doesn't match (1903 update). Just booted up Android, WM at 50% battery, Android 29%.....
