Solved! :D I got that error because I made rebuild ext2 under windows. :(

Just untar original Kgp700 ext2 in ubuntu and made changes under "sudo nautilus" (root user).

Very nice mod, Im testing now .

Difficult was find english language setting on that ocean of hieroglyphs :D

A few hours later I can say something about my test.

Positive: Nice layout, stable, good responsiveness.

Negative: Battery indicator inaccurate (cause old zImage I guess), dont have FM radio, compass dont work, try usb charge and it freeze, after reboot some apps crash.

Conclusion: It promises, waiting i8000 version.

with fresh installation of beta2 at start

init: cannot execve('/system/bin/dbus-deamon'):Permission denied

init: cannot execve('/system/bin/keystore'):Permission denied

why?who can help me?

you can do this

first format your partition with ubuntu

then

sudo bash

enter your password

mkdir /sdcard

mount/dev/sd* /sdcard

tar xzvf YOUR EXT2 FILE -C /sdcard

* Your sd flash name in ubuntu you can check fdisk -l

*in ubuntu you cant copy files direckt your flash you need permission and mount point

in my exaple mount point is sdcard you can put any name for directory soory

for my bad english

i had same problem i solved like that

but i more happy with ext3

if you ask me ext4 is better for me ,no ext3 is better

I just untared in /media/disk/ under ubuntu terminal the original kgp700 ext2.tar.gz (my storage ext4 part. sdb2) So deleted the files and add others how did he say. Edited init.rc with "0p1 /storage" (point mount for my storage Fat32 sdb1 will be sight). You must give comand "sudo nautilus" before you can delete or add some files in that /disk/ because its a system restrict directory. OBS: You must make changes in that windows that open with "root" name. (or login like root). And finaly use that zImage 030911 (its not the last one). Thats all.

Remember if you connect USB it will be freeze phone and make some crash in system.

Mine does boot and work as smooth as butter

BUT I do got a problem, I don't got a button assigned to the home-key

I got 2 back-buttons and 0 home keys

So browsing the web is kinda hard :D

EDIT: Also I think I can't charge on KGP's extreme smooth repack but as he already said (I think) it's because the charging is reversed so I think I would never be able to charge with KGP's amazing repack's =(

can anyone help me, I always get the message EXT2-fs error (device mmcblk0p5): ext2_lookup deleted inode referenced: 124732

and it spins in loops. I tried to install a couple of times to My storage and I always get the same message. I followed every step, It really annoys me. I use some old o2b2update.tar, the file is 1.9 mb big.

just want to let you know, I got beta 2 original and the latest update (19032011)installed and the data connection is working, but everytime I go to android market and try to install any software, the check signs that mention the software will have access to your phone replaced by warning signs ( like there is no connection to access the phone function) and after that shown unsuccessfull download.

the other problem is wifi, when right after I installed it, wifi is working fine but now it wont start up when I click wlan connection button.

anybody have the same kind of problem?
