EXT4 + FS (kpg700/neok_om2android_beta2p_ver32stts) + kernel 1903 (for European Omnia 2) => file image fs.iso

OR

2) unpack iso_kor.rar to My Storage :

\My Storage\iso\fs.iso

\My Storage\iso\haret.exe

\My Storage\iso\default.txt

\My Storage\iso\zImage

3) download sd0.cpio.gz

4) copy sd0.cpio.gz to \My Storage\iso\sd.cpio.gz

5) change in \My Storage\iso\default.txt : Set initrd sd.cpio.gz to Set initrd sd0.cpio.gz

6) Start \My Storage\iso\haret.exe

Is this for the installation on My Storage or Sd?

rebooting every time I run Haret...

copy from iso_kor.rar fs.iso to \My Storage\iso\fs.iso

copy from attach sd0.cpio.gz to \My Storage\iso\sd0.cpio.gz

change in \My Storage\iso\default.txt (sd.cpio.gz ->sd0.cpio.gz)

or

copy from attach sd0.cpio.gz to \My Storage\iso\sd.cpio.gz (rename)

and no change \My Storage\iso\default.txt

P.S.

if \My Storage\iso\fs.iso is none

then sd.cpio.gz make \Storage Card\iso\fs.iso:

dd if=/dev/null of=/sdcard/iso/fs.iso bs=100M count=5

losetup /dev/loop6 /sdcard/iso/fs.iso

mkfs.ext4 /dev/loop6

"4) copy sd0.cpio.gz to \My Storage\iso\sd.cpio.gz" How can I make it??? sd.cpio.gz is not a folder!?

all file in directory 'iso'

type iso\default.txt

Set kernel zImage

Set initrd sd0.cpio.gz

Set ramsize 180*1024*1024

Set mtype 1626

Set ramaddr 0x50000000

Set kernelcrc 1

Set cmdline "root=/dev/ram0 rootdelay=10 panic=30"

boot

Do I need change that fs.iso in ubuntu or something like that? Because I just unrar you package in mystorage..

Edit: I have not made it:

P.S.

For change fs.iso from Linux:

( if

set in phone "USB FLASH MODE"

connect phone to PC

mount phone to /mnt/sd0

then: )

#losetup /dev/loop6 /mnt/sd0/iso/fs.iso

#fsck /dev/loop6

#mkdir /sd3

#mount /dev/loop6 /sd3

........

change

........

#umount /sd3

#losetup -d /dev/loop6

#umount /mnt/sd0

Im going to try it now...

Works great (SD installation)

but it seems I have no access to SD card from Android itself, reporting an empty folder (from File manager application), what should I do to see the SD card content, it has two partitions, one ext2 from previous android installation, one fat32 one to add files easily under windows

Does anyone know are Dev's stopped working on 2.1 and started working on 2.2?

I did not understand. This archive is Eclair or Froyo?

different way of running/installing the same beta, will loose the ability to apply updates on the fly thou.

This method of running a distribution from an image has been posted once before, hundred of pages back, package was in Spanish if I remember correctly.

But I guess people find it is fun to try different things all the time, there are so many ways one can run Linux.

Sorry for repeat...is development of 2.1 stopped? Are dev's focused on Froyo?

download GSM/TIME/path , o2b2update.sh

and change in SQL request .... set value=1 where name = 'auto_time';

to '0'

and running in terminal emulator

or

copy to fat (root) and reboot

--------------------------------------

off get time from GSM:

#!/bin/bash

sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db <<!

select * from system where name = 'auto_time';

update system set value = 0 where name = 'auto_time';

!

Hi,

I had tried what you advise me to do, but I still can't change the time zone. For me it's very annoying because I need to set the alarm and it's very confusing if I don't have the clock with my time zone.

I really appreciate if anyone could help me.

Thanks for the attention

I gave it a try, installed smoothly, russian language, easily changed it to english. Keylayout is changed, wifi worked ok, managed to sync my account, easily. Hard to wake it up, need a combination of keys to manage it. Nice theme though....

+1, sometimes its hard to wake up.. :D

@almar and the dev team

beta 3 will be warmly welcomed with all the changes.

At least, if possible, to create instructions for installing "from scratch"

until 19.3 change (included).

Thank you

:D
