Guest voyteckst Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Not to worry. I think the devs are REALLY working on Froyo.. B) I saw on another topic that the Russians manage to install Android 2.2 on Omnia i900. :D Won't be long for us i8000 owners to get that soon... ;) http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-on-omnia-i900/ i900 is completely idfferent hardware - You should read about it... Besides we have running Froyo and testing as I mentioned before ;-)

Guest maccc73 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Thanks, Almar and his team for excellent work. I want to ask if you are working to implement the bluetooth?
Guest alen147 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 yes sd4.cpio.gz -convert to EXT4 (mmcblk0p2 mmcpblk0p6 mmcpblk1p2) Does EXT4 only work on SD card? I cant get it work on My storage. it only restarts the phone. I get kernel panic and reboot in 30 seconds.
Guest sony tuckson Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) using the iso method shown on page 243, I tried now the "my storage" version, not using the SD card. It's a very nice release, nice themes, good apps added, wifi, market working perfectly... only drawback, and it's a real show stopper sadly enough, waking up the device is as good as impossible...tried all keys, after about 10 hits, sometimes it wakes up, but only once or twice, then no go anymore what could be done to solve that stby mode issue? :D Edited April 2, 2011 by sony tuckson
