Guest obryan Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 hi can you tell me how to do to change the partition of the Korean version to 1024??
Guest sam7128 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 kernel 117 rev for SD - insert in init.rc : mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ok? It works, try with your iso in storage card. I can see SD card. The others seem OK. Thanks

Guest robrazil Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 I have an Omnia II and my problem with the EncFiltLog.menc file began after I uninstalled the Android of memory card because the battery run very fast and the back of the Omnia II was very hot. Well, after uninstalled the Android, every time when I plug the Omnia on the PC as a pen drive, the file EncFiltLog.menc is created automatically on memory card being viewed through windows explorer of the PC. When I modify the USB connection to "My Memory"(8Gb) or "Active Sync", the file did not appear. Is just to change the USB connection to "Memory Card" that miserable EncFiltLog.menc file display. I already deleted the file, formatted the SD card, deleted the partition and created either in SD and Nothing. The file was there. I did the hard-reset but did not work too. I checked all the configuration of keys in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager] but there's nothing wrong. The Encryption of SD is disabled on the Omnia. I tried changing the formatting system for ExFAT but fails because the exfat.dll file does not exist Omnia. Only has the fatfsd.dll to FATFSD formatting system. I tried to replace the original files mencfilt.dll and cachefilt.dll to force the system to create new, if they were corrupted, but it didn't work too. The interesting that I cannot see the file through the Omnia explorer, only through windows explorer of PC. Then, I cut the file from SD card, put it on a PC folder, renamed the file to Encfiltlog1.menc, put it again in SD card an when I tried renamed the file to the original name, show me the massage: "Cannot rename file "Encfiltlog.menc". The porcess cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file." Seems that the automatic partition process of Android to SD card put a command on windows mobile that everytime when I plug the Omnia on PC the windows mobile create automaticaly the "Encfiltlog.menc" file on SD card. Someone could help me to solve that problem ? Thank you. :D Well, I deleted the registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Filters\ENCFilt] "DeviceGUID"=hex:D7,E4,5C,D3,EA,41,4E,38,26,A0,8B,0B,47,B5,23,B0 "PolicyDLL"="DeviceEncryptionPolicy.dll" "EncryptByDefault"=dword:00000000 I lost the option to encrypt the memory card on Start>>Settings>>tab Advanced>>System>>Encryption but now the EncFiltLog.menc file isn't created in memory card and I can format the memory card by explorer of Omnia. Thanks.
Guest llaa51 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 kernel 117 rev for SD - insert in init.rc : mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ok? tried this. sd card still not detected with this new kernel. everything else works great though, and now phone unlocks faster. Oh, just some xtra info, i have android installed on my storage(ext4)
Guest thew0lf Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) kernel_04042011.rar I don't know what's in there, but it seems a lot more stable than before. No SOD or random freezes yet, and overall speed is good. Using it on the regular install from Almar & friends. Great so far. EDIT : seems like I talked too fast :') My phone just froze. Guest llaa51 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 .....new problem. no more removed sd card alerts but now apps like beautiful widget and fancy widget do not detect an sd card >>
Guest forajido Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 nvm sd card is now detected. How did you do it, please? Thanks.
Guest llaa51 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) How did you do it, please? Thanks. add this line in init.rc mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard there is also a line there that says #mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ignore this one.....when mishatir said add i thought it mean edit that line :D but then, as i said with the previous post, apps like beautiful widget and fancy widget do not detect ur sd card. Guest Pete B Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 kernel 117 rev for SD - insert in init.rc : mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ok? So the k1p1 should be the fat partition of Android? So in a mystorage install it should be k0p1? Or is it still the sd card partition??? I'm also assuming the # is a comment character so deleting this from the start of the line of the init.rc is the same as typing the full line again?
Guest xson Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 I think different kind of installation method/version should split into different topic It is a mess that every one asking question with different setting (iso, ext2/4, SD/Storage, Ubuntu or not, etc) Please, all package publisher should take your responsibility to open your own thread to publish your version and support for it. Here should use for people to get help for the almar version.

Guest greatwiseone Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 Agree on that! I agree as well. This thread is getting too dense (and it was already pretty dense previously).
Guest sgoo Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 kernel 117 rev for SD - insert in init.rc : mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ok? OK mishatir, thank you :D, but unfortunately that string does not solve my problem. I have updated the 19/03 release, I have not a fresh install; now I can read the sdcard partition with a file manager, like Total Commander, but it's not "really" mounted, for the system ( and general apps ) the sdcard is unavailable. I am returned to previous version, also because this one seems to me more slow ( for example : from ~8000 to ~7000 MFLOPS in "Lipack Pro" ).
Guest sam7128 Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 kernel 117 rev for SD - insert in init.rc : mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard ok? After modified, I can see SD card only from file manager (looks like it is the only one that can work with SD card). But it shows no SD card in setting. Root explorer show SD card unmount. And Gallery cannot detect any files in the SD card. Anymore suggestion, please??
Guest Tasos Greece Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 The latest ISO is fantastic! Is there any way to enable date time changing please? Thank you.

Guest sam7128 Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 And how we can update with tar.gz on iso method Do you know ???? Thanksssssss Install program root explorer, so you can modify the init.rc. And you can just replace the files with the update one from .tar.gz. Also, you can run .sh file as well to be able to change the time zone in your iso.
Guest generalekamikaze Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 timeupdate.rar time from GSM (ON/OFF) Please, excuse me for the stupid question ... but ...
