EDIT: ...because there is no way to create ext4 in ubuntu using Gparted. Always some pop-up message appear...to apply something and when I do it, it didn't create partition which I want... :)

As stated in post 5161: You don't have to create an ext4 partition.

But if you want to, using gparted:

Try running gparted as root? And don't forget to unmount the partitions you want to edit.

Using kgp's pack:iso installation on European omniaII:

-very stable with korean zImage,exept the button mappings,but copied the keylayouts from beta2 19.03. and all works fine;

-camera preview doesn't work at first,but when update the modules(only) from 04.04.2011 post from mishtair preview works ,but not clean with aspect camera apk;

-camera preview works super with zImage from 04.04. pack and can use original camera app from the beta,also can use all camera applications from market,but phone can't

detect SD card,also with 04.04. phone is really very fast,linpack always gives permanent 8.3-8.5 mflops,but the sd card problem....

-so for now I use the iso pack from kgp with modules posted on pack 04.04.2011 from mishtair,keylayout from beta2 19.03., and all works great for now for 2 days

no SOD,SPB MOBILE Shell 3D works(little bit lagy but works),some games work better too,camera preview works with original and other applications but after taking picture the picture is green;

-mp4 and avi playback is fine with some audio glitches...

For now this is the best combination of pack for me before FROYO from the Developers.

If the file still exists after applying it, do not worry, because the file has been applied but not deleted, only renamed to o2upd_.tar.gz.

I gonna try this, only that I will delete a lot of sounds and pictures there, and it hurts. :)

install LauncherPro again with the right language version you like,see english,which will take place of the korean version

or just remove it with SystemAppRemover.

I make backup too, but GBs of info cost lot of time to transfer.

You could uninstall it with root explorer just deleting the Launcher app in /system/app folder.

install LauncherPro again with the right language version you like,see english,which will take place of the korean version

He can make that but the app need have the exactly same name the app to be changed. I think KGP named it like "LauncherPro0841". You must reneme your app like that. Otherwise you stay with two LauncherPro and can make some confused to use then.

Using this pack, I always get "removed SD card". Is there any way to solve this?

Also, is it right, that the button layout differs from the official beta? Cube = back button, camera button = menu.

Another strange problem: With this beta, sometimes the flashlight of the camera turns on (and stays on)! One time it even turned on when the phone was lying on the table and I wasn't doing anything with it.

When I launch the camera app, the flashlight turns off again.

-Firstly delete all the widgets from the dock;

-Using Root Explorer,go to /system/app delete the LauncherPro.apk, after that go to the LauncherPro provided in the app pack rename it exactly to LauncherPro.apk and copy it to the same folder /system/app and install it using Root Explorer.

Can you explain how is it possible to increase fs.iso file up to 1024 Mb instead of default 512 Mb.? I don't have enough space for programs.
