Android on Omnia II - i8000 (18.04.2011)

when 2.1 running i (fs .iso in my storege 512 mb)copied SamdroidMod-2.2.2_a9 system to my system (all files ) with rootexplorer it is working now what ever i have in 2.1 .Also there is no heat still checking .I know this not exact solution but maybe give devs team idea

since yesterday no heat my phone i like my fake froyo i used Tayutama_Edition_v1.0.2_I9000_Lite system last .baterry life better than wm

ok when you copy remove app then copy all otherwise dont work

Copying Samdroid binaries isn't good idea, because samdroid has hardcoded many Spica specific things (like wifi module name) wich are different than in O2.

PS. And please don't tell that gingerbread from SGS is running for You, because it has completely different hardware (especially processor and graphics card) and it's not possible to just copy files and boot.

Haha, I just tried it.it can boot but the font is so small that it strain my eyes to look at the screen! not good!

edit: it's my bad, the resolution was not right because i had downloaded the wrong Samdroid. now that i have put files from Tayutama_Edition_v1.0.2_I9000 in place of the original ones, it is working flawlessly.

What exactly You changed from SGS firmware? Only /system/app or /system/framework. Rather not /system/lib? Does movies work? Does 3d work?

I didnt check also i am not developer i will be happy if i have froyo on my mobile.

I am just try froyo be realised earlier.

If You replaced all but not apps it isn't such fake as You think, because You replaced more important parts: libs and framework. Have You tried to replace also apps or not?
