Can't log in my google account it says connot establish connection. Can someone fix this? Tried using YouTube account to sync but it doesn't link to my google account

You have to login to Youtube WITH YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT.

i'm applied but

still not working sdcard

so sad :)

Have You compiled kernel Yourself? If Yes, check following in .config:

remove:

CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED=y

CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED_V2=y

and replace with:

# CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED_V2 is not set

i have fix the problem with SD card but i cant solve the problem with market .........

Assuming you have already tried the Youtube account.

I would fresh install, skip the setupwizard, sign-in using gmail app (someone suggested this), when you see the message your account is now linked with your phone then you are in business.

If that failed, try

Fresh install, skip the setupwizard, use a 3g sim, setup APN, sign-in with gmail app using 3g (no wi-fi)

I have same problem, i didn't compiled kernel, i used modified init.rc and vold.conf but SDcard in file explorer is fake(no my sdcard), and apps also don't see it.

maybe froyo kernel is possible compile?

i can't compile froyo kernel but eclair kernel compile is possible

therefore i'm use eclair modules and eclair kernel on froyo

not working i8000 original froyo kernel on korea omnia2

Hey guys, I found out that Angry Birds (the Spica Mod version) is running very smooth and no graphic glitches on Froyo Beta!!!

In Eclair Beta, there are still white boxes around and the scoreboard are white out, but amazingly in this Froyo Beta, all this features are visible now, although some tiny lines are still visible.

Btw, I'm using Mishitar's iso.

Will upload images ASAP.

if have add google.com account problem , then add google.com or gmail.com account on youtube app

if market can not connect with error, then clean re-install omnia2 android without system/app/marketupdater.apk

remove marketupdater.apk

when i write the last line 'sudo tar xzvf....' it sayes at all the lines there that it cannot change ownership and other stuff...what did i do wrong???

after you did

sudo cp /media/DISK0/ext2.tar.gz /media/disk/

do this

cd /media/DISK0/

sudo tar xzvf /media/DISK0/ext2.tar.gz -C /media/disk/

and remember that the C is capital C

the market works well on my phone,searching ,downloading and installing ,i install froyo in sdcard with my storage logical partition and sdcard main partition (no other partitions ),using DiskGenius.

and to the one who cant install the angry birds ,go to settings/sdcard and phone storage,unmount sdcard,then install the apk files ,then mount the sdcard,you will be able to play with it .

and for the gprs or airplane mode problem ,you shouldnt boot android as soon as your winmo startup,waiting for one minute or more is necessary.

in the beginning all its fine but when i change the lang or install something else the ROOT EXPLORER SAID THAT I DONT HAVE SUPER USER ACCESS .......

I found after applying the patch it still didn't work as I suspected because the partitions were the same values.

But I then removed partitions and reformatted the sd card in minitool as fat32 primary with no space before or after the partition and it now works. Hope this helps as the win mo format didn't work for me.

Installed manually on My Storage, on my old ext4 partition. I have no problem running android...from the start everything worked ok.

Things that are not working

- files icons are not showing (default android icon instead);

- when I open some folders from my Storage, the file browser is closing;

- there is no FM RADIO? (@DEVS);

- some programs installation is not working or after install I cannot open them;

Things that are working, at least for me:

- gmail login;

- market (download, install, etc);

- quadrant score is amaising :)

- I have been using it for a couple of houres and had no SOD, freez or restart;

- time on the status bar changed correctly after couple of houres;

- phone calls duration is ok using Call Light;

this is all for now. The biggest problem is the missing of FM RADIO!

SDCARD

Partition1 - FAT32, Primary 7GB

Partition2 - EXT4, Primary 1GB

Android installed on sdcard partition2(ext4)
