Android on Omnia II - i8000 (18.04.2011)

Please first verify how this 2.3.5 works on Gt-I5700, than write. Right, it has same CPU, but nothing more (like screen, chips for WiFi, sensors, BT, GSM). It also lags very much because of unfinished OpenFIMG drivers.

More compatible is GT-I6500 (only Eclair) and SPH-M910 (Froyo, but CDMA).

Please check if there is any, in China-s web. That would be the best for us to have a good froyo.

Update: I found it - not a phone but development board. We are interested in Froyo for I6500 (unfortunately searching via baidu gives only results with eclair).

Update: I found it - not a phone but development board. We are interested in Froyo for I6500 (unfortunately searching via baidu gives only results with eclair).

Yes, a board with s3c6410

by the way, as i can read chinese, some forum in china stated that the dev team of i6500 stopped working on this phone already. There should not be any froyo rom for i6500,sadly :(

gt-i6500 now most are eclair not froyo,

only i5700 there are a lot of roms with 2.3.5

it is not work，the rom they recomended is i5700‘s rom。so it donot work on i6500 device

Read back a view pages. Voyteckst stated that a bug has to be solved.

As long as they are not professionals for who this is a job they earn a living with, we have to respect that and be patient.

May I suggest that when the new beta gets released, besides announcing here, a new thread is also made?

Although these posts have a lot information some people are not following this project since the beginning and going through almost 7.5k replies might not a pleasant thing for them to do..

There is always the search button but I am pretty sure when one sees the size of this thread they will first ask and only if they don't get an answer they will use the forum search..:rolleyes:
