Guest voyteckst Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) voyteckst Not this one... Can't find a link.. Maybe later... But this is libdvm.so recompiled to take advantage of ARM CPUs with VFP like the s3c6410? So we should find the one which does'nt need rest of stuff ;-) Additionally anyone tried to enable JIT compiller? It also should speedup android (i will try it later). In build.prop file: dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:jit Edited January 24, 2011 by voyteckst

Guest shoarmabakpao Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 alaamac199 Updated Old version was JITv4 Wow, just wow the performance increase is just SO BIG! I tried it out and the boot-up goes blazing fast! Just like app start-up and the whole routine, it's like an overhoul over the full android system, that's what I noticed on my device
Guest mosci Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 can you please re-benchmark your device using the new drivers and post the new results (if you applied them on your device of course) Quadrant 1.1.1 Advanced before : 2D 105-110 3D 52-54 now: 2D 118-123 3D 47-51
Guest luismi18 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 alaamac199 Updated Old version was JITv4 If we use this version you just posted, can we delete the dex files on /data?
Guest rumucor Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 one newbi question: For implement this new updates we must only put the o2update.tar.gz in mystorage and run android, isn it?
Guest alaamac199 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 alaamac199 Updated Old version was JITv4 Thanks for updating .. but after looking at the results the older libs performance was better , how come !?!?
Guest Gruven Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 alaamac199 Maybe because it's without cache files or because it's more stable (from changelog)... luismi18 Do backup and try, because I've install all from 0
