Hello guys! One question, do you guys prefer to install the Beta on your phone My Storage or on your SDCard??

SD Card of course

I think it has to do with the drivers u use. I use @rapid81 first drivers and everything seems ok

can u be more specific? becoz I also use rapid's without any other else.. I believe it already included inside rapid's one..

just fresh install android again, this time has bit improvement bcoz i can see the keyboard but after that, freeze..

The last update make some things work better, but the instability still there, I have some frezzes inexpected and needs take batery off

I believe the team go solve this soon because rest litle bit wrong things, sorry poor english, thanks and good luck

After some reboots my phone become stable, dont freeze for hours, my problems now:

Cant put my contacts on phone (dont sincronize with sim)

Cant add media cause usb dont work (device not recognized by windows)

BTW, I'm realy very happy with new world in my phone ;)

AAAAAaawesome job so far

I just noticed one really weird thing after the last update..

The battery never fully charges 100% .. it stops charging at ~93%

Not really a problem, but it's weird :D

Anyway, everything the devs said to work, really does..

Here are my impressions of this amazing beta so far:

1. Very fast (running from SD)

2. Impressively stable (My phone only freeze one time, wich is awesome)

3. Phone, SMS working without any problem for me

3. 99% of all apps I downloaded from market are working (twitter, maps, msn, browser, you name it..)

4. WIFI works without any problem

5. Even some games are working (mostly lagging I know.. but hey, they work, I mean, we can play Android games on our Omnia 2! Yeah, like WTF!!) :D

This beta is so freaking awesome and beyond my expectations that I think it only needs one thing fixed to make it daily usable, battery lifetime

I really don't mind the lack of proper 2D/3D drivers, our Omnia's 2 really never got any decent drivers even on Windows Mobile anyway lol ;)

Thanks for all you guys effort on this project

You freaking rock! ;)

My experience:

Running Android on ext2 will always result in file system corruption. It doesn't matter is it on SD card or "My Storage". I must use ext3 to avoid this.

If I do fresh install with latest kernel (zImage, 27.1.) it totally messes up file system. I must first use old kernel then switch to new.

Phone prompt (SIM unlock) is really one nasty bug: sometimes it shows up immediately after Android boots, sometimes never (even after turning Airplane mode OFF, which is always ON after new boot). But with latest kernel when SIM unlock is about to appear it results in freezing the phone. Connecting USB cable also freezes it.

update: new su is responsible for messing up file system

Just updated and my phone now asks me to go through the setup process again. And DOESN'T LET ME OUT OF IT!

I setup my account as usual but I can never reach the homescreen... why?

Impossible. They are routed straight through the cellular network.

i see, for now no 3g support

regarding the keys mapping, there is a program or some hack for change the call button (show contacts or phonepad for example) and the power button (show the power options but only by press it for a sec)

So, I´ve played with the newest updates for an entire day now, and I´m very impressed!

1. The Clock bug is definitely fixed, as well as the sleep/wake-up problems. My calls are never disconnected, so I don´t know whether this was fixed for the people that experienced that problem.

2. Battery Life is still not perfect, but i managed to leave it unplugged for 11 hours until i had to recharge. That´s good enough for me to use it as my primary OS. The only thing that would be necessary for me to make the switch to android would be a 3g Data connection.

3. Just one minor thing i noticed: I have set the same time zone in Android and Winmo, but still my time is always wrong when switching from Android and Winmo, there´s always a 1 hour difference...

EDIT: And the battery really doesn´t fully load ;) well, it does, but it´s not shown correctly in Android. On Android, i´ve had it loaded to 76%, in Winmo it now shows its 100% loaded
