what kind of usb-connection ... mass-storage?

adb woks well ... (most of the time)

so you can pull and push to the rootfs & /sdcard

Hmm I used both Samsung Kies and Mass Storage (in the options), which drivers and settings are you using?

Also, Rapid, exactly what's in your pack? The Home button remapped to End Call? And why Touchwiz, since it's basically rubbish? An explanation would be nice ;)

why do i always get this:

"Done, Rebooting in 30 secs!"

"Kernel Panic - Not syncing - Could not sync init!"

"Rebooting in 30 seconds"

Yes, why do I get it AFTER it installs the droid on my system??!

and what would happen if i used a ext3 partition?

The keylayout with Home button means, when you press the WinMo back button, you'll not see search anymore, then it works as Home button.

The TouchWiz 3.0 for Android is pretty good, easy to use, fast and smooth. ;)

But, I created another update file without TouchWiz3.0 and with Launcher Pro and Home Switcher. :D

Cool! But i guess, for the battery drain fix, we'll have to wait for the new zImage? Or does this fix that too?

The first cause of battery drain is the turned on GPS after installation. I repeat, the GPS is turned on after a fresh install! Turn off to improve the battery time!

Thank you for this update. I guess Winmo back button you mean "End call" button. If yes, then with your update it puts phone into sleep...

No, I mean WinMo back button, near the camera button... That is the WinMo back button.

All-in-one update:

- 3D drivers from nOObody

- Live Wallpaper support from nOObody

- Keylayout with Home button

- 27/01 update

- TouchWiz3 Launcher

http://pfc.treck.hu/Omnia2/ROM/6.5/Rapid/O...2bupdate.tar.gz

Does this update solve the issue of SU messing up file system?? (reported here http://www.modaco.com/content-page/322429/...0/#entry1580418). because the same thing happened to me, twice!

thanks for the update anyway.....

The phone radio's baseband works at an independent level from the OS, hence it doesn't matter what is in the \sd folder but what has been flashed to your terminal with Octans. Perhaps it's just a suggested flash or a leftover from almar's dev setup, anyway you can freely upgrade to JJ1 like I did.

Also, another "bug": after plugging the charger in, I can't see anything in the "Battery Usage" screen. More of a nuisance, but whatever ;)

No one with a solution for USB connection? Also, anyone can advise on which GPU drivers to add? CPU too, but those on post #900 destroyed my android installation...

many thanks.

other question: How can I do to have the phone in Italian?

I have to wait a new release or is there some tweak to do this? thanks

I have the same problem with missing contacts on simcard. An easy solution is to under WinMO synchronize contacts with google and do the same once Android is running.

how do i go back to android home screen? I have just installed this OS without adding any special addon. all buttons I depressed just don't return home ;)

edited: i think I solved it by pressing the camera button.. i never expect that button would make me return to home screen..

Every o2bupdate.tar.gz needs to be in the same location as haret.exe (i.e. root of "My Storage" as seen from WinMo).

Modified/better TouchWiz:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822523

I created a thread to it:

http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...drivers-source/

Anybody has any contact to Chainfire??? ;)

After using your all-in-one updater my Android totally went out of control, I can't control it anymore, it reboots without showing the home-screen ;)

The error is System crash or so

I also can't install any APK anymore :D
