Guest voyteckst Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 For those wanted to use applications which use root permissions. With the latest update su is there, but you have to do following things to get it working (it will be corrected with the next update): - connect with adb: adb shell cd /bin rm su ln -s /system/xbin/su su exit That's it ;-)
Guest Sinistersky Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 I have the same problem with missing contacts on simcard. An easy solution is to under WinMO synchronize contacts with google and do the same once Android is running. i managed to sync it with google..tnx a lot m8 ;)
Guest Rapid81 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 If someone misses the haptic feedback (vibrator), then edit the init.rc and put this line in it under the line "# insert modules": insmod /modules/vibrator.ko Actually, I put all deleted/moved lines back to the init.rc (it moved to loadmod, but it seems not loading correctly) under the insert modules line: # insert modules insmod /modules/param.ko insmod /modules/s3c_rotator.ko insmod /modules/s3c_mfc.ko insmod /modules/s3c_g2d_driver.ko insmod /modules/s3c_pp.ko insmod /modules/s3c_jpeg.ko insmod /modules/s3c_g3d.ko insmod /modules/s3c_cmm.ko # insmod /modules/s3c_camera.ko insmod /modules/vibrator.ko insmod /modules/Si4709_driver.ko # insmod /modules/dpram.ko # insmod /modules/multipdp.ko I put the newly edited init.rc to an o2budpate.tar.gz, started the droid, then restarted, and the haptic feedback returned. ;)
Guest shoarmabakpao Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 solution is format and reinstall all from 0 ;) Really? ;)( I hate to do all that partioning again! :D
Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Really? ;)( I hate to do all that partioning again! ;) for me was the solution because many applycation was working bad after the update.. now seem all ok.. i have some sleep of death and i solved the market problem by clearing the market cache in settings :/

Guest Rapid81 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Rapid81 After installing the file you put it, the vibration disappeared, as can be solved? It's not my mistake, it is in the 27/01 update. But if you read a few post back, you can saw I posted a solution...

But if you read a few post back, you can saw I posted a solution... when i updated the normal beta with the official updates, there was the vibration, but i prefer your version without vibration
Guest xson Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Anyone meet the problem that After the device sleep, the WLAN disable AUTO, and cannot enable again?

Guest Rapid81 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 (edited) can you share the o2budpate.tar.gz for us with no linux skills? Here. Like I said, you need to put it to \My Storage, start the droid, then restart it, and after that, you'll have haptic feedback. ;) Update 31/01: Phj asked me to update the update. ;) Now only the vibrator.ko is loading in, in the init.rc, because there was a reason why the modules loading went to the loadmod file. If you installed the version before this, then install this, because the original version may cause some trouble when you'll use updates what'll update the kernel or modules.o2bupdate.tar.gz Edited January 31, 2011 by Rapid81
Guest dadme Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Play asphalt5 on my T*OMNIA2 <embed src='http://serviceapi.nmv.naver.com/flash/NFPlayer.swf?vid=0683BAF9539A8C660E1626AE0E820EF3DC32&outKey=V12240ee3b9980609d8af3997667164a817472d1fb3f0d8b60fa93997667164a81747' wmode='transparent' width='500' height='408' allowScriptAccess='always' name='NFPlayer76929' id='NFPlayer76929' allowFullScreen='true' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' /> How did you get this working? I have T*Omnia II and it give me kernel panic and reboot after 30sec on first haret run.

Thanks Rapid ! But still, there is an issue with new su: messing file system on fresh install and freezing the phone on SIM unlock. I had to remove it from your update.
