Guest alaamac199 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) I found out that if you set the time zone in WinMo as GMT it will fix the problem of time difference in Android :-) EDIT : forgot to mention .. 3G works great on Both MTN & Syriatel - Syria :-) Edited February 1, 2011 by alaamac199
Guest phj Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 A battery long very revives and reaches only to 92%!!! The O2 has a fuel gauge chip, which exactly knows the battery health percentage ( from the charge/drain current). I saw the the nice "correction" of the charge level code which above 80% higher the accu % level - but I think the truth is the 92%, so you see the uncorrected native value according your battery health. You can check it in WinMo also... In the case better to "correct"' the level in this case to 100%, please let me know......
Guest xkill3rprox Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Recently my phone has been draining battery life and it's too drastic that when i charge, the battery life remains the same even though the status is charging. I don't know if it's a fact or not. But i kinda think that the partitions are causing the battery drain. I can't even delete the partitions as my micro SD is no recognized and unable to format it. Can someone out there able to answer this for me?
Guest gauravv Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 i am leaving android for now as it is continuously failing to install properly and will wait for future releases which are stable ISSUES: 1. Guest Rapid81 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Hi, I am trying to install eclair on my omnia 2 and I am repeatedly getting "Not enough space on SD card" error. I have 1GB SD card formatted and inserted in the slot. Any idea why this is happening? I bet you want to install the 1GB version. The installer cannot shrink the 1GB FAT partition to 0MB, that's why you got that message. The solution is to create the ext2 partition manually or use the 512MB version...

Guest Zeemon Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 That's because of the SD Card either being too slow or actually damaged, a slow SD card causes these "application not responding" messages also...

Guest mat9v Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Android is not so bad for battery ;) I just did two calls 26 and 29 minutes long and it took my battery from 95% to 78%. Not bad, but I wonder how accurate is a battery meter in our version of Android now....

Its a brand new kingston 4gb SDHC Class 4 SD card ...... i will test another card
Guest Zeemon Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Its a brand new kingston 4gb SDHC Class 4 SD card ...... i will test another card Yea you can try that, however the best way i think is installing it onto your "My Storage" you can read in this topic on how to do that, makes one huge difference for me, no more 'not responding's' and a lot faster aswell ;)
