Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Almar's tweet "I have a clear cam output! Hope to fix the last issues with camera soon." Good Job Dev!!!!! ;) good i would prefer fix before the battery drain, and the sporadic freeze (and also the netfilter missing in the kernel) however very very good!
Guest y17dt Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Awesome! So after fixing Camera, there will be only two things left to do: Bluetooth and sensors. After this step is done they will start with the Improvements, I think. I love this work! I also have the "force to close" messages now. process.android.com/media and many more... A little later: freeze. I will wait for the next updates and perform a clean install. XeOS: looks very nice. with FAQ and all you need. It would be great, if you could add some kind of timeline with all the updates and patches an comments about them. Regards

Guest emptyara Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) this morning market stopped working for me, it continuously gives me an network error. i have all the updates, i'm connected with wi-fi (browser works fine). try settings > application > manage application > choose market > uninstall update edited: currently just run android with 3d driver at 1st page and dvm updates. I found out my android will more stable if ONLY update those part If run new o2droid update (31/1/2011), android maybe new o2droid update creates conflict with the system. Guest TIEfighter Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 a question to the developers, only answer if you have some time: ;-) Do you think it will be possible to further improve battery life? Right now, it´s a lot better than in the earliest versions, but in Real life scenarios (checking mail, occasional calls and text messages) it drains very quickly...and usually the display should eat up them main amount of energy, but the battery meter states that cell standby is the main culprit... What do you think?
Guest Pete B Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Well I just bought a class 10 card so was thinking about installing Android using the O2beta folder way of installing. At the moment I am running Android from my storage and it is working OK but hope to have it on both to compare which one works better for me. 1) The question is can I install Android onto sd card while still having it installed on my storage? 2) Do I just have 2 copies of default.txt (different names) to tell Haret which one to boot? 3) I assume I will need to place the update files in the root of my storage before booting the sd card version to update just the sd card install. And then any udates I should run each version with the update on my storage each time I first boot either install 4) How will the programs I have installed work? Will I need to install them again so it creates the shortcuts on both installs and do this everytime I install a new program? Just a bump of my message. If no one can answer this confidently I will probably just go ahead and try then report back if it all works as I envisioned it.

Also on top bar I had message (and icon) that SD card is not formated or sth. like that and I was not able to install apps from market or even from mail attachments. Still working on thisproblem. If someone hasa solution plesae post it. Thanks! And a BIG THANK YOU for all of you guys who made our o2droid dreams came true!!! ;)
