Guest E.C Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 I experienced the following: If you unplug from USB, send the droid to sleep, wake it up, then plug the USB, the PC will detect it. I don't know why, but it worked for me. This is some kind of bug too. Thanks, but not working in my case.... I've readed some pages ago that you must have gps enabled and with some satellites locked while in WinMo before launch android, make sure it's done It is not true, GPS working much much better than in WinMo, you may try "GPS Status".
Guest E.C Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 Anyone tried benchmark? I saw many people said internal storage is faster and stable than external SD, following is my benchmark result: Class4 SDHC 4GB (1GB version, auto-setup) Memory: 297 I/O: 1044 2D: 108 3D: 55 Class4 SDHC 4GB (ext3, using Gparted to create partition and untar in Ubuntu) Memory: 303 I/O: 301 2D: 108 3D: 54 Internal Storage 8GB, 1GB partition (ext3, using Gparted to create partition and untar in Ubuntu) Memroy: 275 I/O: 220 2D: 107 3D: 52 ext2 partition in internal storage is a bit faster than ext3, but I lost the result. I also tried manual create the ext2 partition on SD card and then manual untar in Ubuntu, but the I/O result still can't compare using auto-setup method, I have take a look on the auto-setup script but can't found anything special, what is the magic?

Guest E.C Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 thanks though. but im asking about the .SH FILE. not .TAR.GZ. Here you go... mount the android partition (e.g. ext3), open terminal - cd /media/ext3 - cd bin - rm -f su - ln -s /system/xbin/su su It is because the link was point to a wrong target, but after re-point it to correct target, I'm still not able to gain root access...

Guest Ngage Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 after apply radie's update, myphone show error. We are Sorry dumpstate_sys.log is detected use *#9900# to copy the log file how to soive this? From WIKI in omnia2droid - Project PLease add to FAQ: Get rid of the boot screen : -ANDROID- Dumpstate_sys.log is detected. Use #9900# to copy the log file. 1. open file manager 2. goto dir: /data/log (it's hidden, by pressing twice on the home button you can input the directory) 3. remove the Dumpstate_sys.log file (many people are asking for it on modaco)
