Guest Rapid81 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 it it's fixed why don't share it? :P Because they testing it. That's why. You'd be appalled by the best, if a faulty update will be issued.

It's strange because root checker checks something else? Just try to open terminal from android and su.
Guest redzone321 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 it it's fixed why don't share it? :P takes time to compile a new fix...maybe hes close on something else and doesn't want to waste time for each little thing?
Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) root check say : SU Binary not found in the system declared patch also with that new file posted Edited February 7, 2011 by djsolidsnake86
Guest voyteckst Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Because they testing it. That's why. You'd be appalled by the best, if a faulty update will be issued. And because there are still some problems with wake_lock on android.
Guest voyteckst Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) root check say : SU Binary not found in the system declared patch also with that new file posted Do not use root checker. Try app that really want root (SetCPU, adb wireless). Edited February 7, 2011 by voyteckst
Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 droidwall say me the same error (about iptables rules)
Guest voyteckst Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) droidwall say me the same error (about iptables rules) There is no netfilter compiled into kernel. Just tried: su iptables -L And it says that i need load module... I checked kernel sources and it's true. BUT question is: does su is working for you from terminal in android? Edited February 7, 2011 by voyteckst
Guest paranoiadk Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 it was a beautiful sight:) "su: access granted" :P) root checker apparently doesn't work. thanks for the tip! :D It's strange because root checker checks something else? Just try to open terminal from android and su.
Guest slmz Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Take my attachement. It didn't work too. :P
Guest voyteckst Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 It didn't work too. :P Maybe try to make chmod command manually from adb shell.

Guest paranoiadk Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) or boot into WM and mount "my storage" under linux (if you have it) and do the whole thing from the terminal. worked for me. (had to use sudo with "chmod 6755") Maybe try to make chmod command manually from adb shell. Edited February 7, 2011 by paranoiadk

Could you please provide more info about what you did to achieve this? I'm interested in a "black theme" to save power and also protect our pixels on our AMOLED screens. Thank you.
