[Problem] Echo Sound and Noise during Call

I've got the problem on fido in Canada, also using the official release of froyo. I've switched to using 3g to see if that helps.

Problem is still persistent even on 3g. I get full signal strength here in Toronto. I get signal everywhere, My buildings basement laundry room is like a cave. Cement walls, no windows, and still I get signal. So, I don't see this being a signal strength problem. I would like to try to find a copy of the original 2.1 release from Fido so I can test the fido baseband. Then update to 2.2 fido and test that baseband as well. Now if I could only find it :unsure:

i have the same problems here. :unsure: ..using Digi in Malaysia....gf is always complaining about echo n buzzing sound during calls...same results when calling SE Yari & iphone4....my solution is to reduce the volume levels during calls...seems to reduce the effects but not removing it totally.. was wondering if i had a faulty unit before this...BTW am running my Liquid E on LCR F1.1.2
