Nice find RedSlug I'll upload them here, to save aggro Cheers Fards erm so how to do this? dump the contents of your zip on the phone somewhere or dump them on the sd & flash the zip via clockwork or dump them where fastboot is & type some command lines? (guess what my q will be if this is the answer!!) or do i need to do something with adb? [see how i've learnt so much terminology in the past 3 weeks, yet still remain clueless !!!!!]
Guest fards Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) I'd wait, I think it needs more investigating. I think I rushed too fast, some files dont show the error anymore some do.. trying to see what's going on. but on 141 extract these to their folder lib/ on yer pc adb remount adb push lib/ system/lib/ check the datestamp on system/lib/ reboot Edited November 22, 2010 by fards
Guest adzman808 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Thanks I understand all except the 141 part.... i've yet to try adb, but i had a little play over the wknd* & i seemed to be able to get adb to run & connect to the streak..... does this have any impact on the green line 'problem' or just the audio error msg *streak in usb debug mode, cmd, cd to folder containing adb & run commands ????

Guest adzman808 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 1.4.1 steves latest build... adb remount doesn't work in dells official B) should've guessed that... i use steve 1.1.1, so should be ok? but i'm clever enough to follow your advice to wait!
Guest Geilt Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Confirmed working on AT&T Streak running on your v1.3 of Froyo.

Guest ber.a808 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) O2 running 1.4.1 flashed the dsp1 no FC on custom in camcorder, still 3gpp but played back fine on the streak.. looks like you got it Isn't 3GPP extension considered WVGA quality and not 720P??? cause i'm already using it since my 720P recording FCs.. WVGA=480P http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wide_VGA#WVGA_.28480p.29 and the way to prove that its 720p is either playback using VLC on your PC to see the info or upload to youtube to see if 720P is selectable... Guest popetodd Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Works on my Steve 1.4.1 build O2 locked porno machine, well done!

Windows reports the dimensions as Frame Width = 1280 Frame Heigh = 720 Total Bitrate = 6257kbps
Guest synaptic.flaws Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Any chance of looking into the green bar when playing converted .mkv files? what player are you using? I have not had the green bars since SteveFroyo 1.2 I accidentally made a paperweight at 1.1.1 and had to rebuild from 1.6 up again, I was pretending I was a HaXoR and built my own, not a pleasant experience.

I *believe* the 3Gpp is only a container like avi, and will hold whatever you wrap it around, the video was 720 I checked that prior to saying it worked. I have no idea why the camera saves it in that format.
Guest chrisrotolo Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 confirmed fixed and working no problems here ATT Streak on "official" 2.2
Guest fards Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) some of us have discussed it, we suspect there's a permissions error somewhere along the way and that its trying to write as mp4, fails so calls it 3gpp Edited November 22, 2010 by fards
Guest Jay Slasher Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Confirmed working Steve 2.2(1.4.1) Its crazy how quickly everything is getting fixed.
