Guest gi4257 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 The "icon" is the green android robot in the calendar app, taking up most of the screen. I think it's from the 'mount sdcard' screen when the phone is connected to a PC USB. no, it's directly connected to the calendar application. To solve this problem, I get Calendar.apk from another rom (ie. extract it from lcr rom zip, it's in /system/app directory) and you have to push it to the phone by doing the following : Make sure that the calendar is not running, connect your phone to your computer and open a command terminal with access to adb tool and to the calendar.apk you extracted from another rom adb root adb remount adb push calendar.apk /system/app/Calendar.apk And now you don't have the android picture anymore ;)
Guest L0cu7us Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) so, i'm here to flash it, but, what are the lack of this rom (if anyone) ? (now i'm using lcr-f) thanks ! PS: pls port the gingerbread theme to this rom, it's great ! Edited December 9, 2010 by L0cu7us

Guest L0cu7us Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 you mean from recovery ? which method ? thanks !
Guest Dario93 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 I think auto method should be ok ;)
Guest thongrim Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) I think auto method should be ok ;) I have modified the build.prop before loggin in on my google account, in this way you can be sure that the market in unlocked. I modified the two lines just after "# Do not try to parse ro.build.description or .fingerprint" so they look like this: ro.build.description=passion-user 2.2.1 FRG83 60505 release-keys ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion/mahimahi:2.2.1/FRG83/60505:user/release-keys[/codebox] You can use Wordpad under windows, pull down the file from the newly flashed phone, modify it and push it again back (its path is /system/build.prop). Then reboot and log in, and the market will be unlocked Edited December 9, 2010 by thongrim
Guest Harness Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) Very nice. Thanks for that, we'll have to implement these things. Also, not going to try to fix Calendar, I'll make a patch from another ROM and upload it within the hour likely. Edit: Or within 5 minutes. Calendar Fix Patch http://www.multiupload.com/KEKSCH49SH Let me know if any problems. Edited December 9, 2010 by Harness

Guest L0cu7us Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 seems adb remount doesn't work on this rom, any idea on why ? ;-) @thongrim YOU are the man ! (worked !) MANY thanks ! @harness upgrade failed for your script, i think i'll put it manually with root explorer.

MANY thanks ! @harness upgrade failed for your script, i think i'll put it manually with root explorer. Remount works for me - make sure you run the adb server with admin rights. Furthermore, I'll fix the calendar app patch. I tossed it together really quickly, not paying real attention to what I was doing. Was in class when I did it.
Guest L0cu7us Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 i have a problem (even with LCR-F), sometimes the data connection 'die' and i must go to settings and disable/enable data to make it wakeup :-/ often when i switch on/off wifi this happens.... Any other ? Can be BIN related ?
Guest Edward.W Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Just want to ask, if I want to upgrade my ROM from V2 to V2.5, Do i need to wipe all the data? (wipe full rom?) Or I just need to flash it on top of my present Liquid Metal ROM? Thanks for answering...
Guest gatch Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Sorry, completely forgot about that... will be in V3,however in attachment there's a new framework-res.apk with battery circle ONLY FOR V2.5 Extract the rar archive and paste the framework-res.apk in your adb folder, then with cmd: cd C:/path/to/tools/folder adb devices If your phone comes up, carry on. If not, make sure it's in debuggable mode. adb root adb remount adb pull /destination/path/framework-res.apk framework-res.apk.bak adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/ Then reboot the phone with adb reboot (or in normal way if you prefer) I think my Dario93's 1.7 is not as good as i wanted.. IMHO 1.6 is the best :) But compared to FroYoMetal,is slower! :) don't work :/ -->bootloop
Guest max2rock Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) hi has anyone tried to move apps to ext2 have problems with dat, able to move with malez0.6.1 but always stuck in boot loop even tried boot.img still have same problem. flashed it over lcr f any help would be great Edited December 9, 2010 by max2rock
