Final chance to ask for any small fixes or revisions before the new rom comes out tonight: Go.

So far:

- Gingerbread Keyboard has been added

- DSPManager has been fixed (to the best of my knowledge)

- Silent Fix included

- Calendar is fixed

- Superuser Apps will be updated

There will be a full, and light version, for those who prefer that. You have about 15 minutes.

Edit: Full version is uploading. Light version is being tweaked now.

Extra Edit: How would you guys feel about me implementing Music Mod over the regular Music app?

I don't like music mod at all, the icon is ugly, and the buttons for the shuffle and repeat is so small to press, not touch screen friendly!

When you open a picture directly from acer widget are you sure that you get the real picture under the gallery or just the corresponding thumbnail ? Because when I tried that, I was able to open the gallery from the acer widget but the picture were in bad resolution (people said it was the thumbnail pictures) ?

I do understand you, and I did not notice it loads a crappy version thumnail version, sigh... I guess it does not open pictures with a more native method.

Anyone know if flac is supported by the nemoplayer? Or will we ever get flac? On liquid?

HOWTO Install:

- Ensure you have Malez 0.6.1 installed, reboot into recovery and run a nandroid backup. (If it gives you an error, umount all fs and restart Malez, worked for me.)

- Enable USB-MS, copy the zip to your SDcard

- Flash signed

- Reboot and enjoy our ROM :)

I'll release a patch for this first thing in the morning. I don't want to do it now as I don't want to slip up on a patch like this, and I'm incredibly tired.

I prefer the light version to be as stock and minimal as possible (so no music mod please), the regular version can be modded. Also it'd be nice to have an archive of .apks & mods then someone could easily copy any specific .apk they want to apply over the light version. It would be a simple install (and uninstall later without requiring root & mounting rw hassle).

Dario93, I could replicate the situation by the following step:

1. Flash the Acer rom

2. Install bootloader

3. Apply the FroYoMetal

4. Flash the boot.img

5. Go to recovery mode, then choose "Apps to SD"

max2rock, if you could follow the additional steps introduced on the other post, you could get ride of it

Just add the following steps between step 4 and 5, which was introduced by kenelm

4.1

adb remount

adb shell "busybox mkdir /system/sd"

adb reboot

4.2

adb remount

adb shell "busybox chown 1000:1000 /system/sd"

adb shell "busybox chmod 771 /system/sd"

adb shell "busybox mv /data/app /system/sd/app"

adb shell "busybox ln -s /system/sd/app /data/app"

I was also stuck in same boot loop after metal update .... this worked like a charm

Sorry I got a question. Is app2sd working on this version? Is the updated boot.img included?

How can I remove Acer UI? Because I dont use it so it's better to remove it :)

Edit: I've found in TitaniumBackup that it is AcerLauncher.apk is it safe to remove it?

You can remove it,but before you must switch to Android UI. And remember that after removing AcerLauncher.apk you won't be able to switch between the 2 UIs

dario, i've been wanting to ask, is it possible if the v3 comes together with noxwell's multitouch fix? i feel that its much better from the video but i havent had a chance to try it since i literally dont know anything about these things, other than wiping and flashing. :S
