Thanks Winston Ma for your reply :)

And talkin' about OC, you can download and flash thepasto's OC kernel,here's the thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...king-app2sd-v2/

remember that you will lose headphone detection with this kernel :|

Weird, i xtract and install email but it force close on me, maybe its an old version, i'll try to extract a 2.2 file.

and losing headphone detection for a little speed just ain't worth it, i love my music lolz

While I'm here, might as well ask, any1 having trouble with voicesearch with this rom? I don't know whether the rom, htc_ime, or voicepack is causing this but, whenever I press talk, it record, and pop up saying network error, however the network is fine when I browse and stuff.

try this on your /system/build.prop:

ro.build.description=passion-user 2.2.1 FRG83 60505 release-keys

ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion/mahimahi:2.2.1/FRG83/60505:user/release-keys

then reboot.

I love the keyboard that comes with this rom. Bigger buttons, able to key in numbers without switching to the number pad.

Hi I have been trying to install this OC kernel into the 2.75 but I failed. I did the following step

1. Install Acer rom 4.002.014

2. Patch the FroyoMetal 2.75 lite

3. Install boot.img

4. Install kernel

5. enter the command, using the terminal emulator, in thepasto post

I got the following problem

i) Everytime when I boot up it keep asking me forlanguage selection

ii) No SD card is detected, but it can read all the application in my ext2 partition in the SD card

iii) All my sms are gone

this rom is nice, but I do not understand two things:

the camera does not seem to make such beautiful pictures, also there is the option to record in HD, but does not record at 720 p. This is because the ROM is taken from the liquid metal.

You wrote that there is a dolby mobile, but how is it possible? If I think that in the liquid metal may be recorded in HD, and instead the liquid a1 is not possible, then it should be the same with the dolby mobile, in fact, with the headphones I do not know the difference

Hi I just installed the phone system again without installing the boot.img. Still, the system failed to find the files in my SD card.

I think I have no luck using 2.75 with OC kernel. I think I will wait for V3.

You can use kernel, not all boot.img.. I don't know if my boot img can work with this rom.. I think the are several problems with permissions so sdfix couldn't work as well.

has the rom got an overclock? I don't know. can you show me in a short passages how i can do it?

is the overlclock stable? the application which work without overclock, are the same if i put this overclock?

why you uploaded an alternative boot.img?

@ all the clue in using oc on this rom is that you have to partion your sd again if you need no ext2 just set itto zero,in malezrecovery after flashing the kernel;) worked for me well:) and i think it works for everyone;) atm everything except wifi tether seems to work....

to performing linpack, the app needs 2 second, while other roms like lcr o CM need only 0,2 seconds.

this rom can be faster.... LET' S GO, I'm very happy for the rom.

And about linpack.....compliments, he scored 52 with liquid overclocked to 1,5 ghz how can he did???

Thanks bro, that worked flawlessly!!

I love the keyboard that comes with this rom. Bigger buttons, able to key in numbers without switching to the number pad.

I suggested the gingerbread keyboard to be incorporated with this rom ;) HAHA, but the CDTeam did the job of course! :)

Don't you just flash the zip then it should work? remember you loose headphone jack recognition!!

Infact, I do notice the difference, I am very picky about sound quality. My mp3 player Cowon S9 has been the best music player ever, not to mention the flac support etc, but the equalizer that Cowon has added has made a huge difference even from the original quality. Dolby on my Acer laptops also has improved all the acer laptops' sound from the ones I have owned. My last laptop, Aspire 5920 has a subwoofer, but it is not very powerful after the dolby eq adjustments, made it really desktop quality speakers.
