I'm now replicating this and working on a fix for it. It's kinda odd.

Harness.

Fixed it for real. I know it's a silent silent because, well, I made the ogg file myself, inserting nothing but silence. I'll upload a .zip file.

http://www.multiupload.com/F62DFBK2AK

Flash unsigned.

Thanks, I will try tomorrow, really late here/early, haha. It was odd, why go through the trouble and make an audio file that says silent - haha, but yes, empty ogg should fix it, thanks bro! You are the best!

Oh btw, is it possible to add over scroll like in cyanogen mod? Like the end of scrolling bounce

Is it also possible to port the cyanogen mod browser? I tried replacing the browser.apk, I just get fc's :(

Hi everyone!

Since the Acer Liquid Metal dump have been released by paugustine (A BIG BIG THANK TO YOU XD) CDTeam made a Metal-based ROM in a very short time ;) After collecting feedbacks from users and thanks to the great help of Auxx and Vache who collaborated to make the the FIX1 now the 2.5 version is ready!!

Here the most important features :

-Dolby Mobile (still working on it)

-New camera app, with better photo and video quality ;)

-Breeze Launcher still the same, but much faster than the leak's one

-Updated apps

-Based on 4.002.14 (Official Froyo release)+ Metal 1.000.23

-Improved speed even with Acer UI

-Rooted and Busyboxed

-DLNA

-Fast as hell ;)

-Good battery drain

Our Google Code Official Page: http://code.google.com/p/liquid-cdteam/

Our official website: http://cdteam.wikidot.com/

As you can see,now CDTeam has a new logo, credits to Andrea ;)

Some suggestions:

Delete Acer apps you don't need (will be removed in next version)

Use Android UI to have better performance and a good battery drain

ATM:

-Dolby still not integrated, due to some incompatibilities with frameworks (But there's DSP manager of course)

-OC is a work in progress, stay tuned for V3

Remember that a donation is always appreciated! :(

So here's the DOWNLOAD LINK V1: http://www.multiupload.com/8NGC6HN4CT

And here the fix1 for V1 from Auxx & Vache: http://hexmode.org/acer-liquid/cdt_fm_patch_01.zip

AND HERE DOWNLOAD V2---> http://www.multiupload.com/UU8VON2E25

Thanks, that worked for me!

I used it before, which caused a bootloop, but it worked now because i had installed the busybox version included in recovery. (I think other versions don't work...)

However, ironic as it may be, this method worked only once too... :(

I've had this issue before, and to fix it I did an apps + dalvik to SD, after which it would work (I don't mind having dalvik on SD)

So I went to recovery and ran "move apps + dalvik to SD".

However, this gave me the following error:

Lol, wait... while was writing i retried to see the error and now it worked xD.

But it seems it has only sent my dalvik to SD, and not my new apps.

Anyone got a suggestion to make recovery also send my new apps to SD?

Thanks!

xIntenso

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

First off; did you install the boot.img in the first post?

Yes.

However, I first used another method that Dario93 suggested, and that flashed a different boot.img.

Should i reflash?

I'm gonna make an installer type thing that'll do it all. Kinda like the superboot image, but the superboot image didn't work for me. Give me an hour or so. (I just did it all by hand - was not happy.)

If you're not using A2SD you don't need to know that part.

i want to try to use A2SD!

Give me a little bit of time. I'm making an ez install script for people. It's just giving me one final bug.

Harness.

Edit: My script is done, I want it tested by someone before it's mass released though. I did numerous tests on it, however I want to make sure. Anyone willing PM me.

Harness, could you put everything needed in a single zip file? Including adb & fastboot.

With the script (like the maltz recovery).

Thanks & Merry Christmas

Do I have to flash the boot.img?

I always Malez's Recovery to ROOT. Unless it is an OC kernel.

For my installer, it does everything start to finish. You just have to hit enter a bunch of times and be patient XD

Thanks, pal.

I don't use Ext2. Just plain SD for storage and swap.

I am wondering if I need to flash the boot.img?

Oh, no. It's just for A2SD support.

You're alright.

Thank, Harness. That's what I thought. Since I've been searching any possible OC kernel, that's why I asked.

We have that too, but it breaks a few things...

like, entire data2sd or apps? o.o

Entire Data2SD wouldn't be hard now that we have A2SD working.
