cooked custom froyo rom

Hey, i made my own custom froyo rom from the kitchen, and im experiencing problems

with a few widgets everytime i move an app too and from the sd card, it seems that the

widgets reset, problems:

1. the music widget goes blank then re-appears, then its fine,

2. the photo album widget resets to the last picture taken,

3. the weather channel full screen widget goes blank and remains so until i delete it and reapply it

the first 2 i can kinda live with(id rather they not happen) but number 3 is terrible,

theres definatly a bug in the rom sumwhere, i just have no clue,

any ideas anyone?

What version did you base it on? What kernel did you use?

breaks after transferring any app 2 or from microSD

my phone is also rooted and I took those pics using

the app shootme,

OK, only now I see you wrote from the kitchen :P

Did you apply any zip file to update the rom?

I made a custom cook as well, but I DL'd the pre-bake, unzipped it, copy, delele, edit files I needed, zipped, signed and installed.

My guess is that there was some error in some zip. Or incompatibility.

Other, but less likely is the possibility of a bug in the kitchen :D

See if you can point out what you did, maybe Paul will join us here with some advice, although it is rather quiet here for some time.

Hey that's k, nope I picked what I wanted n what I didn't want from the kitchen, downloaded the zip and flashed it in recovery mode, I never opened up zip, ill have a look but I don't know wat I'm lookin for inside the zip, yea has been quieter :D, can u link me or point me in the direction of the pre-bake pls, is that the stock group Rom above the kitchen?, if so I became a member so I can take things out, can I still remove what I don't want in the of-bake .zip?

Sorry for the delay ;)

If you are a member (sadly I'm not), and you just clicked the kitchen and downloaded with no additions, there are two options:

1. download did not go that well (in which case the crc of the zip should not work) - try re-downloading

2. there is a bug in the kitchen

The pre-bake is the link in the 1st post... it worked for me...
