Guest doubleluckstur Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Thanks, but as I said, ZTE blade is not listed so I can't do that. Just wondered if the problem was because I am not running premium but it seems not. R. Is rom manager up to date? get the market free version... it should be there in the list of devices, near the end of the list.
Guest rheumatoid Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Is rom manager up to date? get the market free version... it should be there in the list of devices, near the end of the list. Its 3.0.0.7 downloaded today and the blade definitely not on list of devices R.

Guest Frankish Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Looks like for anyone holding off from updating, tonights nightly 4 will be the one to jump on! For me going from RC1 it will fix auto focus, the ringtone repeat issue, the proximity sensor and probably a few other bits.

You'll still have to add your volume keys fix and skymera's headset fix, seems they simply won't add it :S
Guest Frankish Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 You'll still have to add your volume keys fix and skymera's headset fix, seems they simply won't add it :S Really? That's bizarre? Are we holding it wrong :D

JJ9 to CM7 nightly 4 for me tonight... looking forward, well done to all the devs.
Guest Frankish Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Fonix they seem to have added headsethook to the qwerty.kl but it's not been approved yet...? And still no WAKE_DROPPED for volume keys.
Guest leetron1 Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 (edited) Gingerbread is old news...step up Tom & Jacob: surely not possible for the little Blade? :D Edited February 21, 2011 by leetron1
Guest Frankish Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Gingerbread is old news...step up Tom & Jacob: surely not poss for the little Blade? :D I think they have their hands full.
Guest Prendy Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 I think honeycomb would be a bit too much atm. :D
Guest IPB_Refugee Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 @doubleluckstur: That's strange. This is how it looks for me: Below "Spice MI700..." there is only one more entry: "Huawei Ascend" Regards Wolfgang
Guest jt_mcg Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 (edited) Can you please up your boot.img? Thanks. I compiled the kernel and the fix works it seems! I'd still go with tonight's nightly for any other improvements across the whole of CM7, but for anyone who wants a quick fix until then here you go: newtestboot.img Edit: for anyone on RC1 or who wants a flashable zip I replaced the boot.img in Frankish's OC for RC1 with the one with Tom's fixed kernel. Edit 2: I don't seem to be able to mount usb with this kernel, only able to mount in recovery (3.0.0.5 fwiw) Edited February 21, 2011 by jt_mcg

I am already watching gerrit, as I saw, Jacob supplied the headset patch, but it has not been verified and merged yet.

Guest IPB_Refugee Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 what rom are you using, because that doesn't look like CM7? Hi, I still use the stock 2.1 ROM. (I thought I could use the ROM manager to install CM7.) I know from the wiki, that "at this current time, RomManager does not support the ZTE Blade." ( http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?titl...ll_Update_Guide ) But after seeing your screenshot, I thought that support for our beloved Blade had already been added. Regards Wolfgang
