Guest r0by Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Indeed it does  Amúgy a CM Parts Google fordítón lett átnyomatva vagy mi? Néhány helyen néztem nagyokat (nagyokat röhögve), elkélne neki egykét frissítés :) English: BTW were CM Parts translated by Google Translate? I had some looks at parts (lol'ing too), it would need some updates :P I read somewhere, that the cm guys getting out the hungarian languages from a galaxy s 2.2 rom. I dunno, this is true or not :D Edited March 2, 2011 by r0by
Guest flash2004 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Is this ready for daily use ? (by non-devs I mean ?)
Guest Totyasrác Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Had a longer (incoming) call - screen didn't come back afterwards  (Had to plug the charger in to 'wake' the screen... With Nightly8 it didn't happen...) EDIT: Now reinstalling nightly11 with wipe - we'll see... Edited March 2, 2011 by Totyasrác
Guest mELIANTE Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Wherer are Tom and Jacob? The blade's cyanogen github is stale
Guest The Soup Thief Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Is this ready for daily use ? (by non-devs I mean ?) I ain't no dev - I'm a bloody half-wit and these nightlies have been my daily drivers since day one (if that makes sense) It's no less usable than any of the other firmware available on here, and more usable than most Only thing is, you kinda need to be prepared to give meaningful feedback and reflash every couple of days (no point giving feedback on a nightly from a week ago)
Guest JimJam707 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Wherer are Tom and Jacob? The blade's cyanogen github is stale  Tom has a job to do and Jacob is only 16 so he goes to school.
Guest The Soup Thief Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Wherer are Tom and Jacob? The blade's cyanogen github is stale  Flib was saying that HCDRJacob has school work to do during the week and Tom G works. They simply can't spend 24/7 working on CM7. But others can fix bugs and submit them through gerrit. They'll be back to it soon - all good things come to he who waits (though he who hesitates is lost also, so it ain't so clear cut)
Guest mELIANTE Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks, didn't catch that. I was starting to get worried there
Guest jayhix Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 anyone tried this rom with overclocking? if so what speed?
Guest Pelemane Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Wherer are Tom and Jacob? The blade's cyanogen github is stale :) Jacob is working on honeycomb? Look
Guest mELIANTE Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Jacob is working on honeycomb? Look Now I'm starting to worry again :)
Guest ufoman Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) http://android.modaco.com/content-page/331...0/#entry1602687 This fix works Yup, it really works, I confirm it. EDIT: Woot! CM7 is now perfect Wednesday rom for me! Edited March 2, 2011 by ufoman
Guest fonix232 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Had a longer (incoming) call - screen didn't come back afterwards  (Had to plug the charger in to 'wake' the screen... With Nightly8 it didn't happen...) EDIT: Now reinstalling nightly11 with wipe - we'll see... Nope, it is simply that the 2.3.3 branch of Android contains some more translations - including Hungarian. But as CM parts isn't in the Google repo, it won't be translated - thus, some false translate happens.
Guest t0mm13b Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Ok, as of now, flashed CM7 nightly 11 A couple of observations:Battery fully chargedDelay of 250 put into /data/delayCar Home is installed (that was bundled in already!)Did not install optional google apps...Replaced ADW Launcher, with ADW ExRestored contacts/syncInstalled DroidWallNow, the handset is in Airplane mode.... will check later on how it goes in that regard. Noticed a new status bar tweak option... Will post update later on. Edited March 2, 2011 by t0mm13b
Guest birdibird Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 @everyone having problems with the screen staying black after a call: Just move the phone again to your ear and back, then the screen will come back This worked many times for me in nightly 8 and 11 Seems like the proximity sensor is working, but its sensibility has to be calibrated
Guest rbbrslmn Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Is this ready yet? same question here. can I use it all day without the battery dissapearing too quickly or other odd bugs being prevalent?

The Hungarian Spica Community have been very hard at work translating all the CM apps and there are community teams for most of the other languages too. I believe when CM7 is final it'll be the best ROM for all users no matter what language spoken.
Guest IronDoc Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) For all those asking if this is 'ready' read the first post, the links provided and the thread if you have to. It's not exactly difficult and it'll give a more full answer than some meaningless yes or no from one of us. /rant @tomm13b: What new tweak? I only see battery % and hide clock. I cannot remember now, if I've seen it on nightly 8 ROM.... bah.... :) Sorry if I posted that as a new tweak... for the life of me, sheesh,my brain needs a new ROM!!!!! :P
Guest dadashi Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 tried the camera video function and it doesnt work properly, green with funny paterns...probably been mentioned here before...and as mentioned regularly, the prox. sensor screen stays off after a call...
Guest karololszak Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 "Also, take a peek at the General CyanogenMod cahngelog to see what's new in the base, no-device-specific areas." I think You made a small typo there.. :) But thanks for the hard work of keeping the first post up-to-date! And, if anyone finds a fix for the screen freezes, I will be right back @ CM. For now, I had to get back to JJ, because it was totally unusable for me..

What size is your VM? Try increase the VM? That is known to fix up the camera issue.
