Guest ss23 Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Sweet! We're getting closer. EDIT: I can't extract the file (using 7zip). Is it corrupt? Extracted fine for me (using winrar)
Guest Sir Gash Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Extracted fine for me (using winrar) Copied file to my Vega and extracted it fine with AndroZip
Guest warriorscot Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 It's still pretty early days for the XOOM by the time it gets into market in numbers they should have a lot of the little bugs left ironed out. After all they can't really have a beta testing stage without a big enough userbase and it is the first Honeycomb tablet. The difference between the T20 and T25 isn't clear in regards to what it specifies. There is two T25 specs one with a higher clockrate than the other however the higher clocked version doesn't exist although we may be able to overclock a T20 spec to match it. For a T20 chip based device to qualify as a T25 it needs a few other specs to be higher than average like memory and screen resolution. In terms of the basic hardware powering the devices on the Nvidia end the XOOM and VEGA share the same CPU/GPU but the XOOM has an extra 512Mb of ram taking it up to a full gig. This may cause some problems porting to the already existing android tablets and it might not it depends on how tailored for the 1Gb tablets honeycomb is or if it can make do with the smaller amount of RAM.
