Install 7Zip, much better than the built in archiver. Then right click.

Well, everything worked right up to the end when the Vega rebooted & it reached the ADVENT screen.

At this point the word ADVENT just stays on screen for several seconds & then blanks & then comes back on again &

repeats a couple of times then freezes with the word ADVENT on screen.

Any help please ?.

I did a system restore to get rid of the Vega / Advent drivers, and installed the ADB-drivers for the unknown device that then appeared when I plugged it in :)

any idea how long the final install should take? i've got the system screen up and its up to the *daemon started successfully* bit, but the cursers been flashing on the next line for the last 10 minutes, theres nothing else

is this normal?

I just wanted to say thank you for your excellent guides, especially the AUDI which may have saved my Vega from being converted into a Frisby this morning! I note your request about Dropbox and I will be onto that in a minute. Just now I'm struggling to work out how to make my new Dock work given that it comes with no instructions. Anyway, thanks again.

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the guide :)

I managed to "brick" my second hand, already rooted, vega before getting usb working on win7. wasted a lot of time before finding your guide, was back to stock rom with in 2 mins.
