Guest Aurimas L. Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I had the same rom installed on the phone first (if that is what you mean with 0B10) and the touchscreen is working normally. Probalbly it's not really related to osf 0B10. About the no wifi problem; I wiped and reinstalled everything and the problems disappeared. It could be that I recoverd some wrong or incompatible wlan settings with titanium backup. Great build at all - thanks! Cheers Horqai Strange... If stock rom is working fine, so the problem isn't in hardware...
Guest Nyberg Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I did an update of the rom SS2 to SS3, and I got these to FC:s Android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly I do not use Facebook nor twitter nor do I have them installed. Any Idea why? I know a wipe will solve the problem, but I don't want to have to wipe everytime I update the phone. Kind regards Henrik

Guest Spies Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Is there a version with no overclocking by default?
Guest Jukantupa Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Try the attached update. THX!! Now working like a dream!
Guest eucurto Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 i know this isn't this rom related but i googled and couldn't find an answer... I flashed this rom and wiped everything, formated SDcard. I enter Android Market and this FUC&$%# SON OF A B#$%& automatically starts downloading and installing all the apps i previously add on the other rom.... Please someone HELP me STOP this DAEMON!!! On the initial setup i UNTICKED the option Google backup... Thank you..
Guest ogilviea Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 FLB is old news now. It was built on the Chinese ROMs like MCR and even though I did update a lot of the ROM a lot of bugs remain. The recent Swedish rom seems pretty solid and the Swedish Spring rom is pretty damn good. Although I have switched from FLB to SS, I want to go on record how much I appreciated your work. But we're a fickle bunch, aren't we? :D
Guest andynx1 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Hi, Just to be sure... I have RLS2 at the mo', with AOSP contacts, plus hardware acceleration etc etc. Ok, I can flash without a wipe - but will I need to re-install all the other add-ins? or will they be carried over from RLS2? Thanks in advance...

I then go to Settings > Privacy, tick the first box then untick the second and untick the first. Open market, enter your gmail details and presto, it doesn't download all your old apps. Guest dadashi Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 RLS2 to RLS3 without wipe, no probs here as well...
Guest targetbsp Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I know he wrote no wipe no whine, but the question still precists why does it hapens, have anyone been able to do a update without a problem? I updated fine without wipe. Did you change contacts type in your update? ie. did you use the AOSP contacts in rls 2 and forget to put it on on 3 so leaving you with the incompatible ZTE contacts or something?

Guest Ralph Martin Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Kallt I note the busybox which comes with this ROM is rather old (1.15.x if I remember right). Assuming you ever do a RLS4, can I suggest you update it to 1.18.4?
Guest vrwmiaris Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 hi.i want to ask u now the ss3 has its own cpu controller should i erase the setcpu?whats the difference form smartass and on demand?i use 691 max whats the minimun i have to use?i must chose other max and min if i chose powersave?tnx
Guest kallt_kaffe Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Hi - Really looking forward to flashing this but had a few of questions - -Can I not flash number 2 below if I use clockwork? Yes you can, sorry for the confusion, the text "For normal Clockwork install" is a leftover from when I copied this text from the Japanese Jellyfish install as it also had a TPT install archive. I will remove that text. -Is number 3 relevant if I don't flash number 2? Yes, they are completely separate things. I usually do not bother to flash the HW UI as I seldom notice any difference but I noticed today that it made a massive improvement to the performance in the games SpeedX 3D. -'If you use the aosp_contacts addon you will need to wipe after installing it' - Does this mean I will need to wipe cahe / -davlik etc in clockwork or wipe the contacts once phone is one again with the new Rom? Well, to be honest you do not need to wipe but for many it can be easier than finding the contacts apps and wipeing their data (which you sometimes has to to several times. The best might be to turn off syncing before wiping) -Any issues if I don't flash 4, 5 and or 6 with this Rom? No, I use none of them as I'm one of the few facebook-refusers. Also while the DeskClock is more eyecandy than the AlarmClock the AlarmClock integrates with the lockscreen and also offers more options. - Does it all have to be flashed in this order or does it not matter? The only thing that matters about the order is that flashing the first one cancels all of the rest, so flash the first one first, then add whatever addons (if any) that you want.
Guest kallt_kaffe Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 hi.i want to ask u now the ss3 has its own cpu controller should i erase the setcpu? Yes, you can uninstall SetCPU if you want to. whats the difference form smartass and on demand?i use 691 max whats the minimun i have to use?i must chose other max and min if i chose powersave?tnx I didn't write the smartass governor but as I understand it, it makes sure to keep the speed low when idle and jumps directly to 480MHz (or higher) when active. The idea is to use minimum power when idle and maximize responsivness when active. As I understand it, the ondemand governor scales slower from low to high. The default on the blades is to use 245.76MHz as the minimum but I've made 122.88MHz the min by default. You can change that if you want but I've found no ill effects of making it use the lowest speed when idle. I'm sorry if the above isn't very clear but I'm not an expert in this area.

Also it helps gameboid a lot. Firtsly i couldn't play with sound.. now with hw ui it plays like the real gba Installed today from rls2 without wipe and everything is fine and smooth Thanks for your rom!

Assuming you ever do a RLS4, can I suggest you update it to 1.18.4? You're propably right. Don't even remember where I got this version in the first place but as it has worked fine for whatever I've used it for so far I haven't bothered.
