Awesome rom i just love it. i beleive it's much better than CM 7.

i have just a wish .. any ideas about the arabic letters support ? the letter are disconnected when u read pages . on cm 7 you can.

i'm useing "MultiLing keyboard" it's damn awesome all languages work and letters connected like charm & extra smiles and super extra functions. i can read and write sms full arabic supported. super super keyboard (maybe you can include it in ur next rom ).

install blade buddy (see pinned topic in the main forum) and click mount rw.

this will make system writeable and then you can delete it.

I have no problem with GPS, updated RLS3 to RLS5.

So, if your GPS doesn't work, try a full wipe and do a fresh install of RLS5 and see if the error still persists..

Ok, tomorrow maybe I'll do this. Maybe it will help...

They may fix certain functionality problems, such as accelerometer issues and possibly graphics lag, possibly caused by slightly different hardware in some territories.

It does state this in the first post, btw.

Otherwise, there may be minor performance improvements, or not. I personally use the Comviq stock boot.img on my Gen 2 phone, and kk's on Gen 1 phone. No obvious difference.

Hi all i hope you are all having a nice day i was just woundering if others are having the same trouble both me and me girlfriend are having

when receaving calls they are just not coming through all i am getting is a missed call text from orange i know i have a signal on my phone as it has happend as i am typing a text all so when we are trying to make a call we get a beep sound in the ear even though we are trying to call someone and sometime it says the text did not get sent and the delivery report dose not get sent back both of us have TFT OSF ORANGE-UK SS-RLS5 GEN1 MY PHONE GREY GF PHONE WHITE .B08 AOSP DIALER FRANKISH THEME MODDED USING UOT OR EVEN WITH NOT MODDED THEME NO THEME full wipe on my phone not on hers. it happend on RLS2 as well but not on RLS3-4-4B as far as i remember it never happend all got the call and all ways could send texts

IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELCE I CAN GIVE YOU TO HELP JUST ASK BUT PLEASE DO IT SOON AS I AM GOING TO DOWNGRADE BACK TO RLS4B

My notebook was not recognizing this card's capacity so it was not letting me format it. I tried it on my work station (both win7), could not do quick format there but finally managed to format it without selecting quick format option. It is looking good now.

I found another issue while playing low quality videos in youtube which can be seen in attachments. I played same videos in RLS3 and it was not showing black lines in videos which appears differently when HQ is pressed.

This issue cannot be seen if i play Royal Wedding invitation video.

I dont know how but this issue is gone. I tried same video today and it was fine.

I had SD card issue initially and had to format my SD card but after that everything is fine. I calibrated the battery yesterday and so far i am getting good time out of it with HW Acc (default setting) on and no CPU overclocking (default setting). Best 2.2 ROM so far.

I can't turn on WiFi. :)

Wiped before install (cache & settings) and now I can turn on WiFi-Tethering, but trying to get into WiFi the scan runs for about 30s and after a "Network scan not possible" (or some sort of - I'm running German language) WiFi disables itself. :)

Secondly: Coming from FLB-Froyo I miss the "info-bar-applett to turn on/of WiFi,BT,GPS,3G & Brightness. As I don't know the name of the widget/app or whatever it is: Can anyone give me a hint how to get that back?

Ahh you're thinking about Power Control, its a widget built into the phone, just long press the screen, widgets, then power control

Just like that, but it was located in the info-bar. (The one you are pulling down from the top of the screen). So the control-widget was accessible from any home screen.
