You realy need the right version , and because I don't see gen1 or gen2 in the name ... i recommend to download this clockwork : GEN2 blade clockworkmod 3.0.2.8

Kuoi

Ok I have downloaded that one.

DID GSF B9 run on your blade ever ?

Did you actually changed imei ?

I think we better wait for the answer on the first question , because if GSF b9 didn't run or installed well , the phone could be still GEN1

Greetings , Kuoi

Yep GSF B9 did run, I did the TPT method from GEN 1 to GEN 2 and it worked. My problem was getting Recovery Manager to work as it kept force closing. I was messing about trying to get it to run and I switched the phone off. When I turned it back on it froze at the big green android and would not get past it.

OK , I suggest you only try this version , because it seems your blade must be Gen2 ... and I don't think if this version isn't running , others will.

You have now the right version , so please use only this one.

Succes, Kuoi

you do not have to install fastboot. if you just download the fastboot files you can use the method of fastboot i outlined above aslong as the fastboot files are in the folder you are directing the cmd to (eg. C:/android)

when you plug your blade into a windows pc whilst in fastboot mode (green android vol+) it should install one driver automatically. this is all thats needed.

Your trying to run flashboot-windows when the files doesn't simply exist in your folder (you can see in the screenshot its not there), its a batchfile/program.

So where do I find the flashboot files?

1. in the zip-file you have downloaded is no fastboot-prog inside, there are only the drivers for windows -> sorry, didn't know that

2. download the following zip-file: http://www.easy-share.com/1912504577/usb_driver.zip (MD5: 69BA9827BE64BD0479BE7929E61DF7DE)

3. unzip the "usb_driver" - folder to your shown "android" - folder

4. put the "recovery"-file from the "android" - folder to the "usb_driver" - folder

(I assume it's the renamed "recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.7-blade.img"- or Kuoi's "recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.8-blade.img"-file! => otherwise download it again and rename it, if you want)

5. then plug in and boot into fastboot mode (vol +) should stay at green android

6. open a command prompt and go to the unzipped folder: "C:\android\usb_driver>"

7. type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and press return => don't type "fastboot-windows", because the prog-file in the "usb_driver" - folder is renamed!!

8. type "fastboot reboot" and press return

Good luck!

Will this only work if it stays at the green android? Because it just won't for me.

I have done "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" but it is saying waiting for device.

its called fastboot not flashboot as many people keep saying!

if you put flashboot it wont work.....

yes, what Quirin says should work. as you have told it to use the driver so it doesn't need to use a fastboot-windows command.

tho i think my way is easier...... haha

you got it working? did you put all the files in the same folder? (eg: C:/android)
