Software is never finished just released.

That app is NOT official. A guy just named it CM9 music. The app you get with the ROM is THE official CM9 Music app from the repos.

A few months ago the plan was to merge that when it's polished enough.

That's cos he's used the blade camera libs I think, same reason we don't have a working flash yet.

On the upside, well done Lalit and Tom for fixing cam preview, looks like the other half will be getting CM9 on her blade now that's fixed! :lol:

In order to avoid mistakes, can somebody clear out what I had to do, when I will update the existing(installed) rom to the new releases that will come out?

I copy from the first page, and please edit it appropriately:

Flash order:

First: you should get the GAPPs and ROM and put them on your SD card

Now FORMAT SYSTEM <- VERY IMPORTANT

Then flash the ROM

After this wipe data

Then reboot out of recovery and let it boot into the ROM

After you let it sit on the launcher for ~ 5 minutes then reboot into recovery again

Now flash the GAPPs zip

And reboot out of recovery

The ROM should boot

Let it sit on launcher for another 5 minutes to stabilise.

Yeah so they're the instructions for the first time you flash the other rom

When you are updating just flash over the top. no wipes, you don't have to even format system really.

Meanwhile you can set up, that it's hanging up when pressing Power.

:lol: what people are not realilising, is it's a long drawn out process, that's why cyanogen have nightlie builds. thing's get chipped away slowly, and cureing one thing may just cause another problem, might take until jellybean comes, then it's cm10 time. perfection takes time, if at all possible. well not all at once :D :)
