Guest pctv007 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) Well, everything was ok with 15/05/12 build. I installed Apex and Link2SD & everything worked perfectly until yesterday. Then I started to have a HUGE battery drain (something like 1% every 5 min). So I flashed again, Wiped cache, battery stats & Dalvik & System, Flashed again, and eventually flashe C3CO Kernel (18). But nothing does; the battery drain is still there. So I checked with better battery stats & discovered that a system process called Backup was eating may poor battery alive ;) I hope someone here can help me caus' I dont know what to try next. thanx PS: I tried with or without BT, Wifi & auto light... Edited May 19, 2012 by pctv007
Guest James Norny Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 I don't think it is a good idea to try to fix panorama. I have seen a lot of forums about new ArmV7 phones with grade cameras, and i can say for sure only the phones which has official ICS, have panorama working. The cm9 team don't have many access with making panorama work. Correct me, if i am wrong. I think the youtube have to be with the highest priority. Thanks a lot for your work, Tilal, you are awesome.

Guest Skate Away Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Correct me, if i am wrong. I think the youtube have to be with the highest priority. Well, wouldn't the camera flash or the FM radio be a bit more useful ? :)
Guest utternoob Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Do we need to argue about what is more important? What gets fixed is not up to us, so wait and see what happens
Guest Skate Away Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Do we need to argue about what is more important? What gets fixed is not up to us, so wait and see what happens I quite agree, and I wasn't intending to argue with anyone :) I wouldn't want the developers to think that youtube was more important than hardware features we can't currently use, though. It's a great effort so far and I'm very impressed. I'm also happy to wait and see what the next release (if there is one) contains.
Guest ogbass54 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 i use this rom for daily use. everything works perfect only problem is HQ Video :)
Guest pctv007 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 settings, backup and reset, try turning off backup :) Thanks Pal, didn't even think to try that  Will try and keep posting :)
Guest plegdroid Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) Thanks Pal, didn't even think to try that  Will try and keep posting :) it may work? , on cm7, you had privacy settings and turning that off helped with battery life, that's the nearest option I can find for it on cm9. if if don't work please reply on the discussion thread here. :) Edited May 19, 2012 by plegdroid

Guest felystar Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Well, wouldn't the camera flash or the FM radio be a bit more useful ? :) Try this app for FM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296 and let us knoe if it worked
Guest e.miron Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 No it does not work and reading the compatibility list of the developer, on ZTE will never work.
Guest felystar Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 No it does not work and reading the compatibility list of the developer, on ZTE will never work. And isnt possible to extract the app from another ICS ROM with the apk?
Guest razzmataz1478 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) FM Radio apps are specified to the chipset, so you can't just take any app. In the compatibility list it does say that the OSF2 should work, and that has the same chipset as ours.... Guest creedence Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Please, I need your help. I'm wearing glasses. (Well, I'm already more than 50 years old) :( Without reading glasses I can see the battery was not at all. It's so tiny. Can we do something bigger? How does it work? Thanks
Guest creedence Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Meanwhile, I've found it. " update-reloaded-1.9b4-cm9-050712" Here is the battery indicator is large. It really works? Who knows this from experience? Have you the already installed? Thank you very much

Guest Skate Away Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Has anyone got working GPS ? Is there an issue with GPS and ICS ??
Guest C3C0 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) No problems with gps here - using sygic satnav. Works as expected even in combination with compass. Edited May 19, 2012 by C3C0
