Guest Andymac1969 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 fwiw, the zip opens in 7-zip and the MD5 verifies, but it wont flash (for me)... Bad zip, will not work, so will give up at the moment
Guest Dectorian Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) 2nd download corrupt also . Filesize is 108,637KB Edited February 13, 2012 by Dectorian
Guest dandyman Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 i hope i will not get the same error with my download speed. (15 kb/s)
Guest jaytius Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah the MD5 checksum is created against a bad archive it would seem, so even though it verifies, the actual archive its self seems to be corrupt. Will have to wait for a re-upload I guess.
Guest JThumar Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 :P .......cant download now as in office.........see you guys in evening with correct zip

Guest KMT2K Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Ummm, can someone tell me what I do with the md5sum?
Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) These really should be torrented too, alleviate the pressure on the downloads. In other news, I'm praying Tilal will port this over to our SF2s + Vivacity, we really need some love with our new toys :) Really disappointed that the Chrome browser won't work on these phones as it's apparently not compatible with the processors, it's the biggest feature of ICS for me as Chrome is my browser of choice on the PC, so having the same type of sync on the phone would've been great. Anyone think there might be a possibility to port it over or do we just not have the computing power? Edited February 13, 2012 by PsYcHoKiLLa
Guest sc0use Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 what tpt do i use for this 200mb 35mb cache, 150mb 35mb cache?
Guest Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Use 200mb Any less is too small. Edited February 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest ciappy Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 what about cache is this redirected like cm7 i.e. 2mb enough

yea use 200mb partition.
150mb to small

Guest PedroVader Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) I hope chrome could be ported, my initial understanding was that it was only dependant on HW acceleration, haven't personally found anything that says it needs a specific processor, I'm deferring to the experts on here. That said, Google did say that if a device can run Gingerbread, it should run ICS, I'm hoping that will eventually be true of ICS based apps. Edited February 13, 2012 by PedroVader
Guest Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 what about cache is this redirected like cm7 i.e. 2mb enough I tried 2mb cache before and market not work,so I assume 35mb cache would be playing safe.
Guest hugobosslives Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 chrome is compiled for the armv7 architecture. it's nothing to do with HW though that will slow it down if your on a armv7 ICS port with non-fully-working HW. it needs to be released for armv6 or recompiled. but i'm guessing its not open source (as gapps normally arn't) so probs no luck any time soon. don't get me wrong though. it will be awesome having chrome on our skates when it happens ;)
Guest Xsero Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) goo-inside will be down at same time! Can you make a torrent link? (its really will be faster) Edited February 13, 2012 by Xsero
