I was messing around in CM7 as I've submitted it to Gerrit and it's in review. I decided to push some blade libs and see what would happen to camera. I pushed the right combo and it started to work without the dependancy on ZTE libs. This should mean that camera should work the same as the blade ie. it takes pictures but no preview/video

By the way what frankish and a few others have mentioned about freezing being to do with titanium back up and sd card, well im sure that defo is it. I accidentally formatted my sd card so decided to start again with fresh installation of cm9 and havent installed titanium. I have installed fresh apps from market and havent moved them to sd yet and surprise surprise, no sign of any freezing or reboots.

It was definitely Titanium for me. No reboots since i started fresh without restoring from Titanium. Camera stuff sounds exciting!

Lol. It was a complete accident. I wasn't even on the same OS and wasn't even trying to fix that problem

unfortunately - no. But on a more positive note even the n1 doesn't have preview working so it's not really too bad.

I already have a solution for no preview...we can drill a hole through the phone to look through when taking a picture...

In the first post it says "USB Mass Storage - Hit or miss". I haven't ever had an issue with it on this rom and doesn't seem anyone else doesn either. Maybe remove that from first post. :)

titanium can still be used, just make fresh copys of the apk you've downloaded while in ics, and don't restore using copys made while in gingerbread. if need to restore apk with data after a flashing, restore with the ics saved versions and they restore ok

I tried this outstanding idea. But somehow my screen doesn't work anymore. What did I do wrong??
