just installed alpha22 and can't pass the green android. after waiting a few minutes the green droid gets brighter, i press the screen and i'm able to hear the clicking on the buttons for sim unlock and thats it :(

i flashed the rom with no gapps just to test.

i think i have a 160mb system partition, shouldn't i be able to boot properly anyway?

Have you tested this yourself? I ask because in A22 popups failed to close. It took a press of the back button to close them properly also small thing but Facebook mobile on the browser all the text was missing

alpha 23 is the same! :(

I can boot alpha 23, but 3g/2g cant get a connection.

Otherwise it seems to work so far.

edit: no wifi either.

edit2: no usb mass storage, no bluetooth. I'm switching to something else.

I installed burtslams rc04 and it worked ok too. Thankfully clockworkmod recovery worked, otherwise it would have been impossible to reflash the phone since nothing worked in alpha 23.

Maybe they should concentrate on getting at least one form of communication working in the alpha so it can do more than just display pretty colors, otherwise no-one will want to try it and they will get no feedback or bug reports.

This is the fixed version designed to replace both alpha 22/23 of which are broken!

I have issued a new build ics4blade_alpha24 out on ics4blade google site.

Dunno if it's appropriate to post it here, but ZTE first ICS device was spotted on CES 2012, also the kernel was version 2.6.39.4 and not 3.0

For anyone looking more info on this device, searc for ZTE T98.

Yeah, but i assume that is a tegra device. It seems the tegra drivers have less kernel integration/work with older kernels, the TF101 works with a similar kernel versoin. The new ICS qcom drivers are weaven in with new components brought in the last few kernels (ion, genlock, new graphic layout).

Alpha 25 has missing egl, looks like it's the only difference

Any chance of getting the first post in this thread updated to include:

1. Link to Alpha5 Fix 2

2. Libsurfaceflinger zip file

so there is a single place to link to or direct people to to install the current known working build ? Might save some redundant posts in here...

Uhmmm it is my understanding that tilal6991 did not produce the libsurfaceflinger as he got that from cm9 itself....

  • 2 weeks later...
