I've searched here and the rest of the internet and found this as my only hope of a custom ROM for this device: At least for sure, there does seem to be the option to root the device to make all applications that require root access work using gingerbreak, http://talk.sonyeric...om/thread/15622 If there are any custom 2.3 or 2.4 ROM's for this device that would be awesome.
