Summary of my humble request you have kindly agreed :

French Free stock rom with these mods:

- Root

- Busybox

- A2SD

- Maybe also circle battery mod ?

- Other "must have " additions that I would not have thought?

i heard that ZTE official 2.6.35 kernel source for ZTE Blade released recently and it fixes many problems of the newly build blades... http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1488719 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1510672 i had troubles with camera when i installed this rom ( forgive me if there is any mistake :unsure: ). And the camera was not working with cm 7 too but the latest release of the cm 7.2 fixed the camera problem :D...

This is for the blade. Not the crescent. The problem being there are no drivers released for the camera on the Chinese 5mp blade.

I had troubles with camera when i used CM 7 and swedish snow ( but flashing stock kernal fixed it ( but no overclocking) thanks to konstat) but the new releases of CM 7.2 and swedish snow rls6 fixes every problems and i thought it was because the new kernel was based on the new ZTE Blade source :huh:

Im not sure. high possibility things wont work. If it even boots. Only one way to be sure tho ;) give it a go

You were right - it did not boot. But it actually got pretty far - the Free logo got displayed before it halted. The FnC RLS3 TMV test got stuck earlier in the process - on the green robot if I remember correctly...

Anyone managed to use SIP with RLS4 ?

my phone hangs up immediately when shooting line, either in emitting or receiving calls, and in addition I must retype the PIN code as if I had set it in airplane mode.

I don't have used SIP before, so i don't know if it's a bug with RLS4 or with the phone.

I will flash the stock rom rooted soon to see.

edit: it works with the app CSipSimple...

still no luck on improving Bluetooth on the sf2 version. I've ran out of things to try. However release 5 will more than likely be up this weekend.so if there are any last minute requests now is the time to speak up. Thanks for your continued support.

follow this guide, step by step I did and worked a treat, obviously use fish'n'chips instead of the file listed and you will be fine.

PS when you get to Clockwork recovery, partition your SD card 512mb is good and run your update.zip from SD card.

Fish'n'Chips RLS4 automatically puts your apps on sd card but only if you have partitioned the SD card. and I would do this during clockwork stage.

Have you tried a different app? It may just not support the crescents hardware.

Damn, I was hoping BT would work now. I`m not 100% reliant on it with not driving but some folks have to. On the other hand I do use a Sony BT radio gadget via BT so I don`t need long earphone wires. Theirs another CM9 ROM change I haven`t tried and with the FnC 5 due I`ll do same as last time and try them both at the same time, the CM9 one still has a camera problem anyway and I want that working. All in all I prefer FnC to the last CM9 anyway. Its always going to be a swings and roundabouts game. Thanks for working on it guys.

-Notification power widget (thankst to KonstaT and Lidroid)

-GPS tweaks for accuracy and lock speed

-Some theme tweaks

-new base for the vivacity version

-reverting to stock music.apk (looking into Xloud or Dolby)

This is a provisional list. other minor changes will also be included such as some more APN's for the french users.

No sorry. I could but I don't want to. I threw that ROM together for users who wanted minimal features on the stock free ROM. if you want all the features use FNC.
