Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Thanks, I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks again Raverrr for all your hard work, it's appreciated.
Guest fredoche Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 SFII, tested with R5 before I put my swag back on. Bluetooth pairs with my computer using 2 different BT adaptors. But in ever attempt fails to receive a file sent by BT. Paired with my Sony BT Headset and it worked perfectly, allowing me to change music, this unit has its own radio built in. I presume it will allow calls using this on BT too. Normal calls to a phone number ok. Back and front camera working no problems but I may swap to another file if my LG Camera App has the pic upside down again. this will correct it. Just about to use Titanium to restore now, will post back if I find anything other than this. I have tried other BT programs with R4 and all failed but will repeat with R5 when I get the phone set up with Titanium again. Thanks for all the help with the phone guys. I succeed transfer file from PC to BladeS ans BladeS To pc over Bluetooth on RLS5.
Guest Reider59 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) Oh no, the Walkman has gone. Any way to add it back? It was so cool! EDIT: Woo hoo Titanium had it stashed away..... thx anyway. Edited April 2, 2012 by Reider59
Guest Reider59 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) I succeed transfer file from PC to BladeS ans BladeS To pc over Bluetooth on RLS5. Failed here after over 10 attempts with two BT gadgets, I`ll try again later when all my stuff is on. Thanks.... Edit: Rebooted and AOK on both BT gadgets and the headset too. Guest iharrybao Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Thanks for update。 but I don't like the mediafire link.....
Guest iharrybao Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 but does it compatible for T-Mobile vivacity?
Guest raverrr Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Oh no, the Walkman has gone. Any way to add it back? It was so cool! EDIT: Woo hoo Titanium had it stashed away..... thx anyway. i had to get rid of it. Somehow removing the stock music app was either the cause or a contributing factor of the bluetooth not working...still have bo idea why lol. Having both should work fine tho. :)
Guest raverrr Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 but does it compatible for T-Mobile vivacity? Nope the t mobile version will be up when its fully working.

Somehow removing the stock music app was either the cause or a contributing factor of the bluetooth not working...still have bo idea why lol. Having both should work fine tho. :) I can confirm that by installing the Walkman manually, ie using Titanium Backup, the BT still works afterward on the file transfer. Also, after charging my phone overnight to 100% I started the phone. After using BT it did not drop as much as yesterday, though lots of tests and installing were being done at the time anyway, so this too is good. I feel it's always good to recharge to 100% after a ROM change then watch it a few days before reaching any decision, also a power stats wipe after a few days may be a good move, but get the phone on 100% charge first. Another thing, its still too early to judge, but so far it seems to be charging a lot quicker than R3. On that it seemed very slow, now its more back to normal though only further time and tests will prove this. I can confirm also that any LG Cam users can obtain a kernel file from this forum that has a flipped/unflipped camera adjustment. This puts the upside down pic the right way up. It's just a matter of going into CWM and electing to install a zipped file, locate the zipped file and install. On phone reboot the cam is the right way up when using the LG Cam. Looking good so far...... thanks again. Edited April 2, 2012 by Reider59

Guest Reider59 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) It has so many features, too many to list but one of the main ones is instead of fumbling for the soft key to zoom you use the vol up/down on the paid version. It was on special offer not long back too. But it has special filters to use like black n White, Colour Modes, white balance, auto shutter, change ISO, some video stuff too. I looked at a video I did by accident the other day on it and to say it's a phone it was excellent quality. I was dead surprised. See LG Cam Pro It's £1.22 and well worth much more than that. Their is a free version too but no Vol zoom on it. I`ll get the link to the kernel file too. I`ll put the donation through this week (Thursday onward) so go get it if you want it. EDIT: To correct the orientation of LG Cam Pro use this link, Its one of the two files either Flipped or Unflipped. I saved mine on the SD Card and I think they both have the same name, I suspect the flipped is the one but at one point their was a problem with the normal cam being flipped on some ROMS so equally it could be either. http://android.modaco.com/topic/352239-kernel-overclock-kernel/ If it doesn`t flip then just flash the other one. It's the same kernel file but flips the cam view. Your normal cam may be flipped but once you use LG Cam Pro you'll never go back to the normal one anyway. I suggest downloading both Flipped and Unflipped and storing them locally, then add a text file to say which one is for LG Cam Pro. The reason? A lot of storage sites are losing content, closing down etc..... Be safe! Edited April 2, 2012 by Reider59
Guest raverrr Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Cool :) will give it a bash. Thanks for the info

Guest bryfly Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 reverrr......Great work on rls5 , can confirm Bluetooth works fine now on my SF2. Thanks for all your efforts….. Can anybody tell me, before installing rls5 I copied my SD card to pc, then used cwm to partition my card, now my pc backup has the following that are not on the phone SD card after installing fnc rls 5. .Config _ 38, .medieval _software, Download, LazyList, Media, Openfient and Svox Do I need to copy these over to the phone SD card, are they on the sd card but not visible after the partitioning of the card, or delete and ignore them…..cheers
Guest Josef Prusa Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 With power widget in notification area?? Bluetooth working? Pleas provide some feedback :). You may have just saved me hours of work lol Well, I can confirm that RLS5 works on my TMV just fine after reflashing the Vivacity overclock kernel ontop of it. The Bluetooth audio seems to be working, too. Thanks!
Guest fr0do Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 @ Raider: I found it takes quite a while for the battery stats to stabilize. Mine was reporting empty, then suddenly jumped up to 30% next time I brought it out of standby.
Guest gabriwinter Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Great job on RLS5. ¿Can I get Spanish language in anyway? only French and English show as options.

The Bluetooth audio seems to be working, too. Thanks! Hello all, I'm now back from my little holiday. Would just like to thank Josef Prusa for confirming that RLS5 works on the TMV. This has saved myself and raverrr a lot of time seeing as neither of us own a TMV. Feel free to post any suggestions, improvements below. Raverrr and I are happy to take them on board. :)
Guest iharrybao Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 With power widget in notification area?? Bluetooth working? Pleas provide some feedback :). You may have just saved me hours of work lol do you mean if I can see the bettary life in the notification area? yes, it shows nomarl. and the bluetooth, wifi and something else are all OK just about the Phone Model and the kernel mesage, I changed it myself.
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 The power widget in the notification bar appear to be low quality, any way you can fix this or is it supposed to look like this? Also what themes work on the Crescent?

Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 I see, thanks for the quick reply.
Guest Reider59 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) I have to say this is the best version so far. It's not so much the look, the apps, speed, power bar, even the knockout twist view for the lock (mindblowing!) but a combination of all of them plus you caught up with previous errors. Things that some folk need, others not so much, but the point is most of it works, its fast, its responsive, it looks good and to me at least it blows everything else out of the water. I`m proud to show people my cheap little phone that works like an expensive one. I wouldn`t part with it or the ROM. Well done guys..... Edited April 2, 2012 by Reider59
