I'm guessing you mean without wipes?

I wipe with every install so i couldnt tell you. better safe than sorry :)

i'm sure someone else will customize a ROM for the TMV.

What changes should we expect to this compared to RLS5?

I'm currently running RLS5 on my TMV after flashing Fuzzra's OC Kernel, so far everythings working fine except the camera is broken

Thank you for all your hard work, much appreciated. No I mean as in actually broken. Force closes every time I open it up. Strange thing is though, camcorder works perfectly

Try dropping the camera.apk from a vivacity ROM in there.

I know the Vivacity is a problem, but as an SFII user I feel so damn guilty at this moment. No offence to the guys making V6 and all the rest, I realise how difficult it can be. Is their no way you can approach it from another angle say using a different base ROM? Thanks for the SFII ROM, I`ll go try it and just damn well hope ZTE make some kind of update that allows us to use these phones equally across the board. I always imagined the Vivacity would be the lead phone, especially the way it started out on most boards. One of my reasons for picking the SFII though was because it already had history, and a good on, with the first SF.

EDIT: all I can suggest folks is either use an earlier version for now or try ICS in another thread, unless something happens with FnC that allows the work to continue on the phone. ICS is looking good and I dare say the WiFi and Camera will be fixed before too long. I`ll keep an eye out for other stuff on here and other forums too.

EDIT EDIT: Just checked out ICS and if the TMV users utilising the FnC R6 and any future versions have any problems then ICS is looking really good and its dead smooth. Just needs Cam and WiFi at the moment and that may not be long away. I wouldn`t be disheartened by it, ICS just needs some more sweetners added and finishing then we have two really good excellent ROMs on the go. No offence to FnC Devs, you`re still my first love ;-)

The current release can be used on the vivacity with some hacking. It's just a pain for me to test. Apparently RLS5 works with the OC kernel by fuzzra. If anyone who actually owns the device would like to open a new thread for it and put it together they are more than welcome. Rename, remix whatever you want.I just dont like working in the dark. At least with the SF2 i use it everyday and see any problems first hand.

Good news for any TMV owners in that RLS6 works if you apply the OC Kernel after the ROM. Only problem I have found is that the front facing camera flips image 180 degress. I'm sure I have read this has been a problem before though.

Maybe someone can flip it for the Vivacity. Try the free version of LG Cam off the market (Play now) too. That's usually the opposite orientation and its better than the standard cam app anyway. If the standard cam is right way up usually the LG Cam is upside down. Hopefully if it was your standard cam upside down then the LG may be the right way up. Unless we only got that on the SFII. Try it and see.....

for the test do (mp3 play) this speed up cpu from 122 to 320 mhz when active.

Hi, I can confirm this ROM works fine on my TMV - no difficult hacking involved. The only thing was reflashing the Vivacity kernel ontop of it. And again - no problems with the Bluetooth audio.

stock minimum freq is 245 so 320 seems legit for playing an mp3. unless i have miss understood you witch is quite possible in my current state :)

Where can I get/source that??...

Eyup chaps, just a small issue I've found with rls5.1, during a call if I move the phone away from my ear to hang up, mute, or use loudspeaker etc, the screen doesn't light up anymore making it impossible to use any of the in-call features. Has anyone else had this issue, in either 5.1 or 6?

SF2 by the way.
