Side note: there will be two things to update once the rom is flashed. Both where updated by myself but even newer versions are out now.

-sms popup

-google search

Serves me right for taking to long to put this release together. :)

It's fine, I uninstall both of them anyway, I don't use them so they just take up valuable memory!

is it possible for the ROM to have a post-flash script where we could just add "a2sd reinstall" and "a2sd cachesd" ?

You could try editing that in the zip, under META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script

Sorry guys, I tried it but this is the first FnC I cannot get on with. That bar at the bottom on the first screen for instance, brilliant idea in that apps can be placed there and used by people. But for me personally, I loved, really loved that rotate to lock feature. I guess I reached a level with it where I`m happy now at R6.

ICS and CM7 were smooth but nowhere near as appealling for me as R6 was and R5 before it. I think for me the only change would be a mix of maybe CM7 or ICS and FnC. But nothing is going to appeal to all. I still love R6 though and probably always will. I changed loads of times but always go back to FnC. Thanks for your work on this though, it is appreciated. No offence intended......

None taken m8.

However you have been following the progress of Fish'N'Chips for a long time and your input has been good and apreciated. So here is a quick patch i just threw together (and tested) to remove launcher pro and re-instate nemus and all its features.

you can flash this in CWM

Will test that.... But I guess both "a2sd reinstall" and "a2sd cachesd" commands restart the phone, so I can use only one of them.

Oh wow, made a catastrophic mess with this.

Phone now has no OS, recovery/rom w.e it's called manager is still accessible though with all the options which gives hope it's not completely bricked.

The installer isn't on the SD card now since I wiped the card via the recovery manager to try and fix an error that was being reported about a file (something or other wasn't working).

I have no card reader that will fit that size SD card, so what do I do now?

Use other Android phone or buy SD/micro SD adapter.

Bit the bullet and buy a SD card reader, they are a fiver in Tescos, that's where I got mine.

Wont install at all, update aborted. trying to download again, something might have happened to the download.

If you mean the ROM itself I just added it as a zip file rather than renaming it to update. But I deleted the Factory Settings, Cache, Dalvik Cache first. Worked no problem til I reverted to r6. May go back to R7 today at some point. Or have I misunderstood the problem?
