Is it something that can be fixed? Also, how does one update to the latest Go launcher. Doesn't seem to work... Apart from that, great rom. Now my first choice while CM9 is not quite ready. Guest JockeSve Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Can anyone help me out with this: * I do a full nandroid backup with CWM (4.something) * All wipes * Install Atomicmod * Wait few mins and let it install and configure * Restart * Restart into CWM * Restore of userdata * Restart Restart fails, stuck on animated android (text) logo. Waited for +15 mins... Removed battery to be able to retry restart. Same result... :( Restored entire phone back to R13, I have loads of data that I'd really like to get back after installing the final release! Is there any way to do a backup in R13 and restore to this release? (SMS+MMS, game results, ... I assume thats all contained in userdata backup?) Any advice? Note that in Chinese write the date in the format yyyymmdd and usually also have a lunar calendar date that you may want to remove. You will also see some chinese for charging and charged, etc... Most of the lockscreens have Chinese typography on them but it's really easy to remove: 1) Take the theme off your SD card (SD > MIUI > Themes) and put it on your desktop. 2) Open the .mtz file with WINRAR/7Zip and extract just the lockscreen file. 3) Open the lockscreen file with WINRAR/7Zip and extract the manifest.xml file. 4) Open the manifest.xml and delete any chinese character (replace with what you want) and save. 5) Replace the manifest.xml file in the lockscreen archive. 6) Replace the lockscreen file in the .mtz archive. 7) Replace the .mtz file on your phone will the old one and re-apply the theme. 8) Wahlaa, no Chinese typography on your English phone :P how can you replace it.. ?? :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just a couple of questions in case anyone can help. 1.How the frig do you change the email alert notification sound? 2.is there anyway to have percentage for battery instead? 3.Where might one get the capital one app for the phone? as it wont download from play sto9re. thanks again for you work and excuse my ignorance if something is obvious. I am reboot android and i have now CM9. Work correct, trust me. If you want to I can screenshot how is working now :) BUT problem is dolby mobile, and CM9 not so good. Have alot FC on random app. AtomicMod I thing is the best ROM i saw.
