Guest ZTE_Lover Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 I found this about the New Skate pro : http://www.movistar.es/particulares/movil/moviles/ficha/zte-skate-pro?paramPestania=espec&posicionscroll=422 use google translate if you can't read spanish :P
Guest thomcd Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 (edited) Damn, it's got the Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon Arm v7 cpu (but it has the Adreno 200 GPU, the same as the ZTE Skate if i'm not mistaken, so maybe it's not so bad after all). It's actually called the Zte Blade III (and has no camera flash either, compared to the previous blades). source : http://www.gsmarena....de_iii-4983.php Edited October 22, 2012 by thomcd
Guest BerScott Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 I've swapped to C3C0 CM7 right now and ROM runs amazingly well. But have one question: supports stock CM7 browser bookmark sync? I can't sync it. And other question, C3C0 will you update with last repositories? Thanks for you work
Guest C3C0 Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Sync should work. Check in account & sync settings if you have enabled sync for browser. Update is planned but I don't know when.
Guest BerScott Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 That is the problem, sync for browser don't appears in account & sync settings.
Guest mi nombre Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 C3CO will you update this rom?
Guest C3C0 Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 I have to check the cm gerrit first to see if there's anything worth an update... But can't tell when.
Guest agonbar Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 That's why i said it, it wasn't the official info when I saw it, but now it's confirmed, it's de same gpu with 4.0.4...C3CO...have we said how much do we love you??(that can't make sense in english....)
Guest thomcd Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Don't get your hopes up, the adreno ICS libaries for the arm v6 CPU of the skate were released 5 months ago (https://developer.qualcomm.com/mobile-development/mobile-technologies/gaming-graphics-optimization-adreno/tools-and-resources), these are already build in the ICS and JB versions of tilal6991 and probably also C3C0's Paranoid Rom. It's the libaries for the CPU they need to unlock the full potential of hardware acceleration, i think.
Guest Hisham.weshy Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 I'm working with the gr8 Mokee OS here http://www.modaco.com/topic/354546-rom-mokee-os-cm-72-on-steroids-updated-2406/ which's totally satisfying me. the amateur question is: is changing to this one a new experience? what's the difference if any? and what makes me install it?
Guest C3C0 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Why don't you try yourself? You are the one to find out if it suits you or not. Everyone prefers something else. So my advice: backup your current rom, flash mokee and try it. If it doesn't suite you, simply restore previous rom from backup.
Guest C3C0 Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) ROM updated Changelog for 31/10/2012 build - synced with the latest CM7 sources - new S3 kernel --- CPU Governors revised --- new CPU Governor - SmartassH3 --- refer here for more info - some memory and file handle leak fixes Edited November 1, 2012 by C3C0

Guest sakiboj Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 How to boost backlight? Cant find option
Guest bardriel Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Really really good battery life how many time you get with this new release? I never have good results in battery life with cm7 roms ... :(
Guest gacama Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Flashed it 1/11 for me it has better battery life than paranoid or mokee
Guest gacama Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Maybe battery life improvement is new kernel related
Guest bardriel Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks for the answers. I'll give a try then. If it's better than mokee this will be my new daily rom :)
