Guest Ma7moud Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 a2sd doesn't seem to work for me, says sd-ext is not mounted correctly
Guest alboz83 Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 Ellenico Holo launcher for you is fast? I tried it but the drawer it's very slow.
Guest paulus4605 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I've a question concerning the battery indicators I've been working with linux over the years and I know that you have under ubuntu a package called lm-sensors and hddtmp (last one I am not sure) they are used to display the battery status and hdd temp plus all the info you can get concerning your cpu to name a couple of options. can this be used in order to get a correct reading of the battery status of my phone? here you can find an example of the battery status for a laptop in % Battery Status: ${color D7D3C5}${battery_percent}% the topic can be found here http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=3895015&postcount=1056 I would be more then happy to help you out however I am not familliar with all the commands that can be entered in the terminal in order to install apps and stuff like that, however when you might find a solution I am more then willing to give it try Paul
Guest Sany Linux Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Ellenico Holo launcher for you is fast? I tried it but the drawer it's very slow. You should try ADW EX or MIUI Launcher.
Guest alboz83 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Yes i tried all launcher, and adw ex and miui launcher are very fast. But i don't know if flash this rom, if a2sd don't works
Guest shea83 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 lupohirp thanks a lot for the rom!! You are a great!!! ;)
Guest alboz83 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I see that in liquidparts app swappiness value is 60. I leave it or disabling swap the rom is fast alike?
Guest paulus4605 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I think it's fast enough (but I am not an expert) when it's disabled but there might be others that disagree with me
Guest Ainillia Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I think it's fast enough (but I am not an expert) when it's disabled but there might be others that disagree with me You have an Acer Liquid E w/ ~512MB, Liquid A1 users have 256MB(192), swap is not very important for Liquid E, but essential on A1. And, for the previous post, 60 seems a bit to high for me.
Guest Ma7moud Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Anyone having problems with a2sd or is it only me?
Guest alboz83 Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I have problems with a2sd also. liquidparts don't works, for now i'm using link2sd

PLEASE REPLY Older version uses too much battery with wifi on, and is a little slower than lupohirp's version. New version is faster and has the best ram management i have seen (and felt) on the Liquid A1
Guest zorginho Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 better than liquidnext 1.9.2? i have it without sdman as is perfect! no bugs and really fast. (liquid e)
Guest Ma7moud Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 better than liquidnext 1.9.2? i have it without sdman as is perfect! no bugs and really fast. (liquid e) It's faster than LN 1.9.2 and better memory management, for the first time i don't need a task killer to keep the phone fast but a2sd doesn't work (using Link2SD now)
Guest Diljeet Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Here the Changelog for the next version...kernel is insanely patched :P Sorry lupohirp Home and Search keys are working after the first reboot. Will report back if they stop working and will also post if A2sd works. The old acer drivers are working for Windows 7 64-bit. No need to install new USB drivers(if anybody needs them, then please tell me) Note:This rom also needs reboots like the CM7.1
Guest zorginho Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 hey lupohirp can u do a version without a2sd? i don't use it and i noticed that makes the phone slower.i like link2sd instead. tnx for the attention
Guest Ma7moud Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Anyone else having random reboots or its just me? it's not related to anything, it's really random, sometimes while typing, playing games, but most of the time its when the phone is idle, just sitting there on my desk then suddenly i see the cyanogenmod boot animation
Guest shea83 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 I also have random reboots.. the reboots are not frequently but i've noticed that this happens when the phone is in sleep mode and there is an incoming call.. I have an A1.

Guest norteside Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 http://www.modaco.co...60#entry2015868 thanks but what is the build.prop?? im very noob... what i have to do thanks Be sure your build.prop contains the fllowing lines : ro.product.model=Liquid ro.product.brand=acer ro.product.device=salsa ro.product.board=salsa ro.product.manufacturer=Acer I don't know exaclty wich line decide the device, but it's one/two of them. Also, install OpenRecoveryScript, it appears upon opening the menu (key) in the GooManager main screen.
