Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Working on it right now! Hopefully have this out for WiFi and 3G today! P
Guest comicbookguy Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Just try and install it, it fails. I haven't had the notification again. Hoping 4.2 comes soon got the notification again last night. If the tablet Ui is gone I'm not sure I want to upgrade. Is there any way to permanently block OTAs so I don't get the nag screen?
Guest jiberjaber Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Any update here Paul? I've seen some issues reported with the stock version, to do with Bluetooth etc. Perhaps that may be causing issues in the new modaco Rom?
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 There are definitely some stability issues! P
Guest ethicalstrategy Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Looking forward to the update. Interesting to hear about instability on stock 4.2 I'm running stock on my nexus 4 and had a random reboot this morning. Bluetooth is rock solid though compared to 4.1.1 on my galaxy nexus.
Guest jmagee Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Really? My Bluetooth won't work properly with my in car hands free. Hoping a fix gets issued soon
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 I've not tried mine in the car yet, i'll give it a go! P
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Final testing on the build now! :) P
Guest sucramco Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Nice, this will be something to play with. As there are no decent teams playing tonight.
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Not 100% sure it'll be up tonight, have a few things to fix and footy starts soon. ;) P
Guest sucramco Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Damn shouldn't have mentioned the football. Lol.
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Jr9 test topic is here - http://www.modaco.com/topic/359304-jr9-mcr-temporary-test-topic/ :) Final release tomorrow all being well! P
Guest jmagee Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 (edited) Jr9 test topic is here - http://www.modaco.com/topic/359304-jr9-mcr-temporary-test-topic/ :) Final release tomorrow all being well! P Bluetooth working? Obviously it's on my GNex that it's an issue. Just installed Jr9 no problems so far. Looking good. A nice tablet keyboard. Notification drop down will take some getting used to but I like it. Superb job again, which reminds me... Must renew my subscription :-) Edited November 21, 2012 by jmagee

Guest comicbookguy Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 (edited) EPM is in my build... P ah well... if its one or the other i can live without EPM.. going to flash a new bake with TabletUI zip baked in ... doesn't take if you add it to the baked rom, have to flash later with CWM. still breaks the EPM & Google Now. still worth it ;) Edited November 22, 2012 by comicbookguy
Guest krypto16 Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 So far only had one random reboot while in Google Talk. Other than that, I have fond nothing wrong and love the small additions I always get from an MCR. I know this is the N7 forum, but any chance we will be getting a Nexus 4 kitchen soon? You can tell me to go away but I am still gonna be curious :P
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Yes, kitchens will go up in the following order - Galaxy Nexus (done), N7 (today), N7 3G (today), N10 (tomorrow), N4 (tomorrow / Monday). :) P
Guest jmagee Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 No problems here except the Google now being in the wrong spot in landscape with bar on the right
Guest PaulOBrien Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Phone layout keyboard now in the kitchen! The Google now thing is a bit annoying, i've not managed to track down where that lives yet! P
Guest tdroza Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Just installed. All working well here. Thanks! Lock screen widgets look useful. Multiple user accounts should be handy too. I love Swype, but not convinced that style of keyboard will work well on a tablet. Will try it for a few days though. Any idea whether photosphere can be enabled in the camera app (it says device isn't supported when I switch to photosphere mode)? I know it won't be ideal with only a front-facing camera, but I was hoping to be able to play around with it.
